Hmm. After all that I see the MIC502YM is obsolete and unavailable! Back to the drawing board.

I'm going to machine a jig today for soldering the output devices on SA2014. What is the recommended spacing for pcb to heatsink?
Input/vas and power supplies complete. Pics soon [emoji41]

Ultracool! A jig made from solid aluminium. Wow!
I think we can see you soon machining a complete amplifier case including heat sinks... 🙂
Have fun, Toni

...could be a perfect heat spreader too! Tapped with M3?
Have you used the gerber files to get exact distances? And thx for the nice signature upper right corner!

Yes, it would be perfect for a heat spreader. Tapped M3 and M4 for mounting PCB. Dimensions from .dxf you sent me by email.
Total machine time was 8 minutes. Better than doing it by hand! 😀
It's actually quite hard to get a good photo. the surface is very shiny (faced with diamond tipped tool)

Looking good Tony, but your are going to have problems getting to your cables against the wall !😀
Can't wait to see what's next from ASTX Audio Lab!
BTW, my SA2014 boards are 99% complete and I'm very happy with how they turned out. Soon I can start construction of the chassis [emoji482]

Waiting new projects....
Thx too! That's why the rack has "wheels". 😉Looking good Tony, but your are going to have problems getting to your cables against the wall !😀
Thats really fine! I'm sure you will do a chassis cnc machined from a solid aluminium block 😉😀...
