housekeeping circuits - new and final hardware version 4.2

... this will be the last transformer powered housekeeping variant.
Now you can choose between 230V AC or 115V AC mains voltage. The 115V variant needs a customized transformer from GERTH as shown on the pictures.

SA2015: using lateral mosfets EXC10N20 EXC10P20

BTW: I'm currently matching lateral mosfets (exc10n20, exc10p20). Is there a need for a SA2015 lateral mosfet amplifier?

BR, Toni

No answer so far - but I'm still working on a lateral mosfet variant of SA2015. First set of PCB's arrived last week. I'm currently calculating cut off frequencies of the gate resistors. Has anybody experience how low we can go with the gate resistors using especially the EXC10N20 and EXC10P20?

BR, Toni

P.S.: what irritates me is the same Ciss of 500pF for EXC10N20 and EXC10P20! Could this be a datasheet error?

SA2015 - 4 channel - active cooling

  • Bias is very stable from cold to hot. (mV measured between TP1 and TP2)
  • Active cooling works as expected.
The fan is nearly unhearable if listening level and/or room temperature is low.

Enclose the open areas where fan air escapes without passing along the heat sink.
The T shape at the top and probably another T shape on the bottom need to be filled in.
Or a ("n" shaped) plate from fan housing to the far end leaving a small gap to the fins but still touching the corners of the heatsink backplate.

The top/bottom fan housing is more or less formed by the case top/bottom.
What do you mean with "n"-shape? Can you send a modified picture?
