only one thing: capacitor that is connected from output to gnd must be connected over 4.7 Ohm 2W to gnd,it can not be connected directly as it is on your PCB!
for test i romove that capacitor ...but i do this

Do you mean 4.7 Ohm in series with the capacitor?
hi 44250:
if i connect directly SGND(SIGNAL GROUND) to Main Power Ground and remove 10R resistor what happen? one person say to me that do this....but he not a a diy audio members....now what i do?

i think i read in this thread that resistor only for test but i am not sure abouth it

ok so i need test it myself.in near fucher i add protection of ax20 to my ax17...what your idea?

hi still you are a old diy audio member. i need a smps for diy use..can u help me?

SGND (Signal Ground or input ground) needs to be connected to Main Power Ground. This is normally done with a direct wire connection. If you have hum or "ground loop" noise, a 10R resistor can be used in series to partially isolate the input ground from power ground to reduce "ground loop" current flow. This is referred to as "ground lift resistor". 10 ohm is low enough resistance to provide a connection but not so much resistance as to reduce the input signal.
Ground loop current can be different depending on the connected input source; CD player, preamp, phone...All have different grounding.
very tnx dear friend. tonight i remove 10R and connect directly an tell to what happened.best wish for youSGND (Signal Ground or input ground) needs to be connected to Main Power Ground. about c10/r29 i remove those...and want put (10r/3watt+100n) like as others amplifier...whats your idea?

FH9 question
Hello,
I got hold of a 300VA 28-0-28, can I use it for FH9.. or maybe AX-11? Sorry for a really noob question, but I'm trying to decide which of the 2 amps to do for a first SS build. Just wrapping my head first around the psu and then the amp.
Thanks!
kieran

in this time i test ax17 with remover 10R between SGND and MAIN GROUND....i cant determine any change.....or may be very low different...and so test my fh11 vs ax17....(fh11 with 3 pair irf640n & irf9640n) both with a power supply...not different...both are good and mobile eqoulizer put in super bass....both have warm bass...treble too.SGND (Signal Ground or input ground) needs to be connected to Main Power Ground. but fh11 have a small problem and that is: when i turn on power supply for 2 or 3 seconds in speaker have hum noise or a thing like hum or dc voltage.after 2 or 3 seconds step by step hum noise gone.i dont why happen this? offcorse when use protection with delay problem be solved but i want every thing work properly like a proftionall amplifier.
see my fh11 in this link(copy link and past in browser search tab)

..... or with 2 pairs OP transistors 🙂
Regards , Alex
i made ax 17 .can i remove 10R/3w resistor and connect SGND directly to main Ground ?
i want made a ax17 Flawless and put into box and made a profitionall anplifier.

Apex P30 reborn
hello guys since I been doing layout for quite some time now I'm ready for the Apex P30 PCB this is what I have so far I still working on it 🙂
1. not completed yet
2. I will tested and let you know if the circuit work
3. if the circuit is a success I will share here gerbers files

hi mr mile..very nice...wats specification of ca9?
i finish ax17 .....test with a 50-0-50 volt power supply.my speaker is a floor stand with 4 woofer 5/5 inch....ax 17 very power full and stable...tnx a lot mr mile...i want to made ax17 with 4 pair 2n3055/mj2955 too...i love to3 pack.

leave 10r 3W resistor between Input gnd and main gnd on amp PCB.
