Does anyone have any Xtra (functioning) boards for sale? May be a long winter so I'm preparing to hibernate. I'll see what boards you have and compare to my parts bin.
Thanks!
Thanks!
here you go.

Hello Prasi,
https://www.diyaudio.com/forums/solid-state/164093-100w-ultimate-fidelity-amplifier-post4686633.htmlFor some reason JLCPCB can't seem to figure out the gerber files from post #7150. (FX8 Bimo Mod.) It complains about non-standard gerbers, etc.
Could you please replot and post the gerber files so that we can try again with JLCPCB?
Hello group members, could someone tell me the post number of pcb layout apex ax11 which uses bd139 as Bias transistor? sorry for my bad english. thanks.

try with these gerbers, this should work.

Ok. Thank you.
I uploaded those to JLCPCB (see attached) and in their gerber viewer I wonder if their software is having a problem with the drill holes? In the gerber viewer it looks like the drill holes are missing?

They changed gerber view. Not as good as ex one. I have checked gerber in ViewMate Pro and all is OK.
You can check also with gerber viewer placed here China PCB Manufacturer & Assembly - NextPCB

Just load them in any Gerber viewer like gerberlogix .
The holes are there;
may be a bug in their online rendering tool

Hi group members, all good, first I would like to thank Mile Slavkovic for the excellent projects and for all the members who design the amplifier layouts. I have some doubts and if anyone answers I will be grateful, I set up the apex ax11 amplifier with 2sc5200 and 2sa1943 output transistors, with bd139 as Bias, what are the acceptable values of the Bias adjustment?
Is it normal for the mje340 and 350 to get so hot?
Can i replace with tip 41 and tip42?
And which resistor is responsible for increasing the gain?
I set up the pcb for this post

Hi fabiomaster, normaly people try to get 0V on bias, but its normal to have 10mV until 100mV. In order to get less bias, you must match the HFE input transistors.

Hello Kandimba, is this dc measurement on the sound output or on the output transistors?
thank you for answering.
thank you for answering.
Has Prasi said, (Hi Prasi 🙂 ) this mesurement should be done with input shorted, across output and ground.

Hi fabiomaster,
For increasing gain , refer this post.
100W Ultimate Fidelity Amplifier
For bias, referring the same schematic as above post, delta V measurement should be done from emitter of Q10 to emitter of Q11. Normally class AB amp it should be 25mV to 30mV.. So bias current is ~ 50 to 60mA or there about.
I do not know if MJE 340/350 getting too hot to touch might indicate problem in AX 11. .
if bias and offset are correct and you are getting sound output with test speaker, try a small heatsink for them (mje340/350). if temperature is ok, then you are good to go.
