Mile is just joking, eh!
maybe not 😛
my two trafos weighs in at about 10kilo, each
and they are only 2x38V (2KVA)
so if you want twice that voltage...

my usual layout preparation exercise
anyway...if I really is going to do this, I have decided for a pro style 19" rack box, with heatsink both sides (300 x 165mm)
to get enough heatsink surface I will use one side for NPN output, and other side for PNP
input/VAS will be placed on a long board connecting the two sides
input in the middle, and VAS closer to driver/output

how about sound quality, so you prefer this design or h900 design? beside this design is easy to find the part.
sorry my bad english

I'm still working on the 2U high version...Mile is just joking, eh! Do you want to lift up your amp with a forklift? 😀

Is there any progress on your work?

Its not easy....

I suggest drivers and VAS transistors on main heatsink with outputs...
PCB for 2U size: 75x265mm 🙂
Thanks... Now i can move a bit faster😉
There is some mistakes on your circuit.
thanks for checking 🙂
component numbers help 'orientation' and spotting errors 😉
hope its better now

Very artistic approach 🙂

¸Another suggestion 🙂
That's much better. Those thin copper tracks wouldn't withstand high current flow. At least 400mil wide track or polygon should be placed, like Apex showed. 😉
