I wouldn't let that theoretically designed amp anywhere near my loudspeakers!
Where is the protection circuit that stops high transients and DC going the speakers. The 1N4007 diodes will not stop serious back EMF.

Hi Apexaudio
greetings 1000 watt simple PA amplifier can it be used in 2 ohms at 110 dc
supply rails what would the power be with MJL21195 MJL21196 with same supply just finished another similar PA amp with 110 volt dc supply rails
warm regards

Thanks for posting and comment.
Protection circuit is on separate PCB, balanced input with limiter circuit also.

If you use an IRS2092 class d based design with gate drivers you can get 1000watts out of 4 output transistors.
Thank you for sharing another powerful amp...
This gonna be another exciting amp to build….. 😉
Mr. Mile let’s rock this….🙂

I guess this amplifier will be *hugely* popular with noobs, because it has the irresistible combination of the magic "1000W" label and "20 output transistors", but it will be a nightmare to dissipate all those watts wasted as heat.
I suggest you build this much more advanced project instead;

Just sayin' 😛

No BA1000 only can be used in 4 ohnms at +/-110V DC.

Agree, but people love amps like this 🙂

Agree, but some people don't like class D amps.
Mr. Mile can you post PCB please...
Thanks.....😉
Regards,
PCB not finish jet,

Ok, waiting for that....
I believe many diy friends will build this amp, including me...

With 1r0 emitter resistors on the outputs, the output bias will be approximately 26mA for optimum ClassAB........... but it will be a nightmare to dissipate all those watts wasted as heat...........
This gives an output stage dissipation of ~51W for all 18 devices. Add another 6W for the drivers. Quite manageable, especially for a "big" amplifier that will probably be fan cooled.

This amp will be cooled with two 0,14A/220V fans in parallel 120x120mm size.
What about SOAR of a 9pair 1943/5200 stage when operating from a 110Vdc supply?
Will be ok for audio purpose.

Many diyers love old school amps with classic design without cascodes or class H operation, just simple current mirror VAS and EF output stage 🙂
Hi Apexaudio
greetings is it possible for you to post limiter and protection schematic
