UConditioner 3.3 Volt
Can this 3.3 volt be used for conditioning 5 volt?? Jumper setting??
Thank you, Jan

Please download the dxf fileHi Ian,
@iancanada
I 'am redesigning my DAC-box. Since it is build in an existing box I 'am not able to measure the mounting holes from the StatoinPi-Pro.
Luckily the manual has a layout published. However it is not complete. One number from a hole is missing.
Please see my attachment and the yellow mark on it. One number is 24 MM (horizontal); do you have the second number (vertical)?
Thank you, Jan

This would be a very fair feature, I know Ian wants to earn as much as possible, but I think this can be done if he has the will.UConditioner 3.3 Volt

Yes I found that file however also there is this number not mentioned in the drawing.
See attachment.

Hi all
Does anyone know if its safe to change the Fuse On the linear PI MkII with a slow blow fuse ? The fuse keeps blowing when I use the UcConditioner, (3v3 version), I suspect when its about to switch to conditioning Mode.
Symptoms : Initially on first switch on the ucConditioner was charging for about 7 minutes then the fuse blew on the linear pi Mk2. Replaced the fuse with a 4.5a car radio fuse. the switched on the Linear pi again . the UcConditioner was charging again, but for for only about 30 secs before the fuse blew again. Does anyone have any experience of replacing the fuses on a liner pi. Or is it another issue ? grateful for any help

@iancanada what is your recommended way of powering multiple UCPures in the same box? It looks like you prefer powering them via separate wall warts, but if you wanted to box them all up what would be your approach?
@Ras Dan
The default is a 2.5A or 3A fast fuse for safety reason. Please change it to a 5A fast fuse if it works with a UcConditioner.

You can use one transformer with multiple output coils. Each UcPure needs an independent AC coil.@iancanada what is your recommended way of powering multiple UCPures in the same box? Some feedback from an Ian DAC-builder newbie...
Quite impressed from the first 15min listening (yes, all components where already powered on the last 4 days).
Still using "stock" clock on FiFo Q7 and RCA, as no XLR in my tube-hifi-chain...
So let's see in some weeks how it compares to my Weiss DAC 502 MKII and Lumin Streamer with upgraded PSU (Hypsos Ferrum) and than the grand finale DAC test with my lovely Abbas Audio 3.2SE DAC...
for fun and initial testing I used my old Yamaha Receiver case ;-)
- After blowing and replacing fuse from my purepi II and with a LOT OF HELP from @zabloc, I can listen to music the first time
- Using Volumio was a nightmare, moved to Gentooplayer, works extremely well!

Is there any problem using both an HDMIPiPro and a Dual Mono DAC together with the FifoPi Q7? I'd like to be able to build a combination streamer/dac and use both my external DAC (Terminator+) and the built-in DAC.
Good job. Congratulation!Some feedback from an Ian DAC-builder newbie...

BTW, MonitorPiPro can also be a StationPiPro controller if you have a ReceiverPi Pro II for a full-input DAC
Have a nice weekend.

@iancanada
Ian, don't waste your time on the forum and make us new hardware 😎
What I would like to see in the future (and I think others too) is 2 versions of the DAC HAT. One based on ES9039PRO or ES9039Q2M DAC chips and one based on AKM's AK4499EX/AK4191 chips.
Or better, forget the chips and make us an FCPGA DAC, configurable, and take my money 🙂

Thanks for the hint, already tested and love the LED's when switching source on ReceiverPro...Good job. Congratulation!

NOW I know, why so many dont use any case for it, too many flashing LEDs 😉

Need clarification.... while stacking the cards (between HDMii Pro/AES & FifoQ7) I see soldered material of HDMI/AES board J3 bottom side is touching Q7 card J3 connectors. attached pics....
I think they should not be touching and it's not safe? Shall we need to reduce the length of the excess solder to have gap? or is this by design and ok to continue?
Please advise.

I second @zabloc request a dual ES9039PRO and Akm would be awesome I know the 2x ES9039PRO would be expensive due to the 2x chips alone are worth over $200 but when we are at this level most of us would love to go for it.
A lot of us have dacs that do not benefit much from a streamer alone like the Denafrips and many others as they always reclock the signal.

You can check my video where I did just that@iancanada what is your recommended way of powering multiple UCPures in the same box? It looks like you prefer powering them via separate wall warts, but if you wanted to box them all up what would be your approach?
Powering 5 UCPure banks you can build it like that or use it as a template to modify your own.
Hope that helps 😊
