with what reference available would you like to replace the following items:
CMF551K5000DHR6
CMF551K0000FHEK
TMCMA1A476MTRF
593D475X9016A2TE3
T491X107K025AT
That are the 5 components missing from our GB

CMF551K5000DHR6 => CMF551K5000FHEB
CMF551K0000FHEK => CMF551K0000FHEB
TMCMA1A476MTRF => F931A476MAABE1
593D475X9016A2TE3 => TP3A475K016C2500AS
T491X107K025AT (In stock at Mouser)
To all the person I gave the firmware, this is to validate it.
I did not received any feedback yet, is it working well or did you find issues.
Looks to me like your GND is wrong pin. But I am basing that of PCB pictures

Stones, you are right for the GND pin location.
Gionag, you have the others pins PC6, PC7 and PC8 correctly marked on the spare I/F.
PC6 => SPARE5 (pin6)
PC7 => SPARE1 (pin2)
PC8 => SPARE0 (pin1)
GND (pin 12)
Spare connector pin numbering (from bottom view)
5 ..... 1
10 .... 6
15 ....11

... while is can easily doable "on the wires", i am designed a neat pcb to bridge both of the connector, to carry also 5v+ for some type of optical encoder...
keep you posted..
keep you posted..
Yep.
Just a reminder that user's of the second encoder need to add the debounce circuit for the switch pin (SW). So you need also the 3.3V from the Spare I/F.
I think also that if weak pullup is not active on clock pins, you'll also need debounce on them if a mechanical encoder will be used.
how much?
Sounds perfect.I think also that if weak pullup is not active on clock pins, you'll also need debounce on them if a mechanical encoder will be used.
Nice adaptor!
Freehow much?
but i think i can bundle it with the encoder adapter with ring led.
"master" is working...
i had a little hiccup on the usa customs with digikey and i have some components on hold here in italy waiting to be released,
once i have them i can also test the "slave" encoder board.
and then, if interested, i can give you the set (encoder board "master"[for volume] / adapter / encoder board "slave"[for source])
Just pay the shipping

Had the opportunity to take a picture of the correct orientation.
For future reference...

Thanks gionag. This is helpful.
Does anyone have a set of pictures of each board from each board from known working preamp? It would be great to have them as reference.
Assuming no one person has a complete set of photos I'd be happy to have people send them to me and I'll arrange them into a single collection. PM me and we can work out a way to transfer the photos.
