Mine works like normal, no strange behavior or letters.
good for you...
😉
Hi
Have you tried to downgrade to v2.93, and THEN erase all setting when you have the v.2.93 installed ?
I did this, before i upgraded to v.2.99

Maybe i am just totally drunk...
but there's a real need to keep DGND both connected to the RELAY_POWER (2p) header and the MCU_CONTROL (6p) ?
i think that can be a potential "ground loop" if you will...
i haven't taken the change to look at the return path layout, but maybe we can spare the one on the MCU_CONTROL.
Alex, what do you think ?

Hi @ fenci 🙂
I had the exact same problem as you have.
Here is the fix (as Alex have mentioned) :
You have to erase all settings.
Just to load the default settings is NOT enough !
YOU HAVE TO ERASE ALL SETTINGS !
Then it will work 🙂
Regards
Johnny
Thanks Johnny for the confirmation, I am not crazy then 🙂.
Hi Fencki,
Indeed since I made a lot of changes in the setup structure, keeping old settings will make the preamp not working well.
If it is too much trouble I can add a shortcut to the erase settings for example on a switch like a long press when the preamp is off but I did not do it as I am afraid that some may erase their settings by mistake...
this was the last time i upgraded to v2.99...
i had some strange letters and behaviour
This may happen, erasing settings and loading default after will fix this.

I can check but if it is on the digital side it is not a big deal.
And the analog part is fully isolated.
Can you post the pin configuration for the second encoder ?
Thanks
Now that you have all a working v2.99 after erasing the settings, here is the secret feature 🙂
Left encoder channel MCU pins PC6 & PC7 (don't mind the polarity as you can set the rotation in the configuration menu with v2.99)
Left encoder switch MCU pin PC8
Keep in mind that there is no HW debounce / filtering / pullup on the switch & channels so you might want to copy the SW1-6 HW implementation here.
On the spare connectors P10 it translates to spare 5,1,0 please check the schematics.

Alex, can you just double check that ?

Thanks
amazing I ordered the muse chips yesterday morning and I just got them 😀
Any news for the backordered parts ?
I have removed replaced all the parts in backorder with available equivalent.
No I'm waiting Mouser to update the order status and see if everything will be delivered or not.
No the problem is that we have 4 or 5 items wich are missing.
I will have a look if we can order them from an other supplier.
I'm making my possible to get everything as quickly as possible.
BTW the transformers should be delivered this week.

To all the person I gave the firmware, this is to validate it.
I did not received any feedback yet, is it working well or did you find issues.

with what reference available would you like to replace the following items:
CMF551K5000DHR6
CMF551K0000FHEK
TMCMA1A476MTRF
593D475X9016A2TE3
T491X107K025AT
That are the 5 components missing from our GB

Alex - apologies for delay, I will be able to make another attempt of upgrade tomorrow and will certainly let you know.

i will try out the upgrade again to v2.99 tomorrow but i have to order a second encoder for the dual encoder options to try out.
alex can you confirm the pinout from gionag?

No problem, I just wanted to highlight that all your feedbacks are important for me and that this FW is still under test.
Thanks for your help.
