was able to push the firmware into the mcu. that, BTW, after latest windows 10 update seems to have broken the Dfuse utility.

On a new PC fresh install, I also got dfuse not working for me at start.
Problem was "unrecognized USB device"

Here is the workaround that worked fine for me:
Under W10 go to "check for update" and then check for "optional updates".
You should see "ST dfuse". Check it and upload.

Dfuse utility should be now fully operational.

FYI: I am using W10 64-bit version 20H2 and dfuse V3.0.6

I hope this helps.

Some time ago there was a question here if this is possible to have one single enclosure for preamp and PSU. My preamp is kind of following this concept however I do not use original PSU.

So the concept is that both L and R preamp PCBs are symmetrical making it easy to located them one on the top on another. And this is what I did - in the section of enclosure where preamp PCBs are located enclosure is divided in half in height and PCBs are mounted to this bracket. This also applies to analog trafos. In the front controller board got its own mounting bracket which also provide some sort of shielding. And in the middle section there are +/-24V PSU and auxiliary +5V.

That resulted in pretty small factor preamp in enclosure 34 cm wide and appx 10 cm height.

done the very same thing as you did.... but i was unable to enable proper comunication.
but with windows mileage may vary :)

afaik st has dropped the dfuse entirely in favour of the CubeProgrammer.
