You can see them here with the Pluvia 7s, the 7MS fit right in.

Monacor SPH 8M in 46 litre bass reflex and the Mark Audio in a mid-tweeter transmission line. Crossed at about 300Hz or so. Currently 2nd order passive crossover.
I love the look of these, glad to hear somebody else is enjoying the 7ms as I've not seen much posted about them
I've just upgraded my Pluvia 7s to the 7MS in my WAW system (8" mid woofer). They sound very nice 🙂
I just started a similar swap, but there will be some issues fitting the A7ms in the A7.3 cutout. I will make it work.

Look forwards to hearing your impressions!

I can see that everyone likes SF Stradivari design, Troels does (PMS), member Stal does and myself too. So this is my version of that design (plagiarism does not sound nice). It is designed somewhere between MLTL an BR (or some combo of those two ..), anyway, these loudspeakers are going to stay in my setup for next very long period if not my final loudspeakers.
I am too much satisfied with sound and appearance and WAF is very high. It is driven with T-amp as I am not satisfied with EL156 SE that is in my possession at the moment

zmajz,
That's a good looking build there - well done!
You were inspired by the SF Stradivari, and I guess SF must have been inspired by someone else? 🙂
Also good to know that WAF is high, and most importantly the sound is enjoyable.

It's almost three months that these speakers are in constant use and I must say that on the wide front baffle these drivers are sounding much better than in narrow one. Tried them in narrow and smaller boxes but this is much better.
Yes, they do sound bigger and more voluminous sound.
Plans are done by hand and in situ during production, but in a day or two I can put some here as plans are not with me at the moment

Thanx! I had them in a wife baffle as well, but also with more internall volume. Sounded bigger than the nostromo's. Very interesting!
...SF Stradivari design...
I guess me too. Ours were inspired by Ellispam we did sort of steal the name too,
You have built very nice boxes.

P10-hifi Alpair 7.3eN + SDX7eN WAW (aka FAST)
The Alpair 7eN have come out and A7mSeN will go in.

Here the old and the new. The big speakers were recycled cabinets. The new ones where made by kjf audio in England, from velcromat

with the amount of kids toys in the pic I would say 100 percent! Just from my own experience..... 🙂
Love the look of these speakers, where would I get the plans?A11MS XL my way

I just put together a kjf kit - very near the same as your - with the 11ms. Only a few hours on them... but at the moment I feel like im hoping for a miracle that the low end appears... I play an 80hz tone and it's not very audible.... I guess I target a good 30 hours or more before I get back to judging this. Thanks for your encouragement Scott, and I have to add that my son (not easily impressed) was indeed impressed with my current build. Whoever said that the 11MS drivers only needed 10hrs of break in was wrong (in my view), yes they improve but really need much longer to reach peak performance (subjectively speaking, sorry).
I'm keenly catching up on your posts, logic800. I have mine powered by the new hypex ncx500. About 380w 8ohms... so I will break them in and then connect up my PP el34 18w 8ohm for that warmth.Alpair 11MS in medium Nostromo cabinet - listening impressions - Part 2.
Last night I fired-up the valve amp, and I must say that the speakers sounded better balanced, had greater depth but with no loss of detail - listening to tracks such as Angel by Massive Attack, and Morph the Cat by Donald Fagen - compared to my solid-state amp. I've no idea what the output impedance of my (DIY) valve amp is but certainly greater than the other amp. Would this difference account for the changed (for the better) sound?
