Singing Bush, before final assembly and almost done
Many thanks to Nelson Pass and Zen Mod
Very industrial. Take it to the jobsite!
they (packages) are popping delivered here and there, with no logic, at all
well, it seems that's how it is nowadays

some projects in the making using the famous "Sepaker" enclosure 🙂
Aleph 3 - being cleaned after many years of good service and going to change the output caps.
Aleph J - in the making
Both Aleph 3 and Aleph J will go into the enclosure - with a selector - to choose the amp to power one. I still love the old Aleph 3. I might consider to put a F5 at one stage as well!
2 Korg B1 pre-amp
and one NOIR

Here's my (almost) all DIYAudio system. From the top :
Micro Seiki DDX-1000 turntable
O2 headphone amp, Pearl 2
BA-3 preamp and 1923 Westinghouse DC voltmeter
Fisher 440 and Pearl PS
F5
I'm in DIYAudio heaven thanks to this site!
I added a Muses volume control with IR remote to my BA-3 FE. Just drilled a hole and moved the receiver inside the case.
Mine?
Yep. Works great and brings a more transparent sound than the stepped attenuator I had in there. 😉
My take on Pass HPA-1
Thanks to covid19, working from home, I started to finish some projects I had laying around for some time.
I had these HPA-1 PCBs made and still had a Tentlabs volumecontrol on the shelf so wanted them to combine in a nice enclosure. Also I liked to do something with those nice VU-meters.
It is finished now and I think it looks great 🙂
The VU-meters though doesn't bring you anything besides a good looking frontpanel...
Inside is a 120VA Amplimo transformer, big capacitors with the cap multiplier, the volume control board and a true balanced to unbalanced convertor board and the two HPA-1 PCBs. For the digital part of the volumecontrol I used a Meanwell 230V to 5V 1 Ampere converter, works very well.
Combined it is a headphone amplifier and a nice preamp also.
It is dead quit and sounds very good 🙂
I'm gonna do more with those VU-meters on my power amps also, I like it, my Pass XS preamp even looks a bit dull as seen on the last picture 😉

Yeah, now it worked, have to upload them 1 by 1 and not 10 in once...
