Do you have some more details on that chassis?
I have to pop the top to check the bias. What do you want to see? happy to supply pictures.
The chassis is custom. Built around the big heatsink usa heatsinks. Black stuff from Front Panel Express.
Let me know what you need.
some pics of my crazyness about Pass amps...
My BA-3 amps ( I built 2) - the first pretty normal on +-28V - rails
the second one is running on +-34,5V - rails = hot rod. JFets living close to the edge... 😀

Wow! you really have a lot of radiators in your house! 😀
Ok, jokes aside, really my compliments for your masterpieces.
The aluminum modular system for the frames is very interesting.

Hello rmauror,
I built the last few poweramps with those aluminum frames. Makes them super
strong. And easier to repair. Put the lids/panels off - good access to the electronics.
A few weeks ago I made a little stability test (check pics) for your fun....

Thanks ItsAllInMyHead!
Today I was sitting in my living room watching those amps and thinking:
Is this normal what I am doing here? 🙄

A Plea For Help... Bad Dad Support Group
Dirk, I have chassis envy... 😀
Won't someone do something to help these lonely, displaced, adorable projects? When they were young, they each had their own chassis. Even hand-me-downs from their older siblings were okay with them. They understood we were a family of limited means.
Then as they got older, they were kicked out. I bring them in and give them warmth and shelter in a nice chassis periodically. They can tell I'm judging them and comparing them to others. I tell them I don't play favorites, but they know. They know....
I look at others' projects and wonder if they're "better" than mine...
In the evenings, while I'm playing with the youngest, I can hear the pleas and hopeful cries. My Aleph J whispered, "Please, sir... just a bit of warmth in a nice chassis... if only for a month... I don't even need dual mono or balanced inputs, but it would be lovely... " 🙁
My M2x has eldest-child syndrome, I think. I was too hard on him. I just didn't know how to make the right adjustments early on, and there may have been an over-voltage. I did everything I could, but there's still scarring. I'm ashamed to change IPSs all the time... as if the original configuration wasn't just perfect. I heard a whisper, "Why do the younger ones get all the new fancy parts and better treatment? I've never seen you burn any of them with an iron" It's heartbreaking.
They all bring me such joy. I picture each of them in their own beautiful custom chassis emblazoned proudly with their name.
If only my wife weren't so heartless.
I heard her say just the other day to a friend, "If he wants any more.. some of them are going to have to live in the garage". The garage!!!! Who would do such a thing?!

Maybe it’s your speakers 😀
Just kidding, that’s some fine electronics siting on the bench for someone who only started 18 months ago👍

I guess that's what can happen when you build amps at breakneck speed.
May need to call Amp Protective Services. 😀

yo Bubba, why don't ya cascode them?
easy peasy work, if needed you can do it even without drilling the pcb and without exacto knife
Itsallinmyhead,
Looks like the beginning of a decent collection 😉
My count is currently: B1 Korg pre, two ACA (original TA mods), two ACA-220 (Hafler chassis), M2x, Aleph J, F6. All completed with full chassis.
On deck: Penultimate Zen v4, two MoFo monoblocks, Singing Bush, SIT-3X, SissySIT.

Chassis envy? Yes, I know this problem!
Shall I make an emergency call to ModuShop / Italy that you were running out of material and your workflow is interrupted? 🙂
And the ladies/wifes. you should hear my sweetheart what she thinks about my crazyness! 🙄
Cheers!
