@gannaji or anyone: If using a Variac, would you put the bulb tester between the Variac and the unit being tested, or is a bulb tester not needed if using a Variac.

That bulb tester is your single best safeguard to protecting components. I use both every time. Without the bulb tester stuff can burn up at low voltages if something is wrong.
Can anyone tell which is the best apex amplifier with good sonic character ax or sr or Fh or x with low noise good sound dynamics
hi dear friend.i have aproblem with apex 555 problem.i download many layout of apex555 protect mono and stereo...and made but dont work....now i find correct schematic.
plz tell me apex555 have overload/short circuit protection alone? or need add sepreated overload detector...?
(i buil ahmed yerli complet protection but it have not fast action when turn on power and relay dont act together.)
i want use apex555 pro with all of bjt and mosfet amp like as ax14/ax17/fh11..if it have overload and short circuit to...i know there are many apex protection but i want use apex555.

AX16 is AX14 with add overload/short circuit detection PRO adapter. Reguleted PSU15 is for any amp.

Hello prasi and Mr. Mile, I've changed power transter with TO-264 package and track change by rotating MJ15030. Capacitor removed from Layout because I have allready simple PSU.

very nicely done!..congrats...yes, this one can be used when you already have simple bulk PSU with caps. Even I have such simple PSUs and I could add this regulated PSU as additional.
You could slightly move away the output transistors so they dont foul with V+ and V- faston connectors..
