I wouldn’t mind to get more than 20 if you don’t reach critical mass, just in case

UPDATE:
the company that want to supply me the components told me that they have ended supply for the philips, and now they can only sell NXP (not nexperia).
Same price... i am not sure what you wanna do...
i am sorry for that, but at least they have informed me.
and i think that we need a proper thread for that ...

OK, never mind and thanks for the update.
It was for a second project so I'll just park it for now.

Thanks for the update, since I already have nexperia makes no sense for me signing up.
Thank you anyways

UPDATE 2:
Sorry guys, the supplier mis-understood my request and the quote was not accurate on the branding.
They said Philips=NXP=Nexperia, so i think, they know very little about the product they sell... (or maybe we are making wrong assumptions about differences between them).
Either way, i can't take the responsibility of giving you what you don't want.
Sorry for all the noise around this thing, but till tonight i thought i had a winning hand for all of us 😀
Till next time ... have a good night

question:
the dsc 2 version supports 44.1 and 48 khz based sampling?
thank you
i think DSC support just and only DSD formats.
you need to convert them first then send to it 😀
... maybe i am wrong, but you have missed the whole point 😛
I know that dsc is only dsd, but a 16 / 44.1 (rb) up file at dsd 256 or 512 is a base, a 24/96 file (based on 48khz) up a dsd 256 or 512 is another base. theoretically it takes two clocks to better manage the two sampling rates.
here is the reason for my question.

now i got it...
on the dsc 2.6.2 that has a reclocker on-board it uses two oscillators.
i think is exactly for that
Hello !
What to take care when selecting a volume control for the output ?
what relationship live between the output transformer and the value of the following pot ?
In other words... what is the best suited value for a volume pot after the output transformer ?
thanks.

I understand that the output transformers is a key feature of the DSC.
But for a quick bench-testing is it possible to apply a opamp buffer properly loaded on the input to make some tests ?
and, again, with tests and first power up in mind... what is the "correct" power drain of the whole assembly ?
i mean in particular of the converter part without the input interface (BBB/G or AMANERO) ?
thanks
The date code on the chip is 9701 e.g. 1997 week 01
Nexperia is founded in 2017
Nexperia - Wikipedia
So I guess this is 'real' Nexperia

Good to know !
I was wondering exactly that... where to read the date code.
Thanks
For anyone who are ordering or wants to order the BOM for the 2.6.2 version, i think there's an error with the connector J5,6,7,8.
The part listed in the BOM is : 20021121-00040T4LF but that is short of 34positions...
the part that is supposed to be ordered is : 20021121-00074T4LF.
In fact, for the resistor carrier board the counter-part is correct : 20021311-00074T1LF

Oh! I apologize. Yes, this is my mistake. 🙁
Number of Positions 40
Number of Rows 2
I have not correctly interpreted the concept of "positions" in the datasheet.

and... i have found this one.
Do you think is new nexperia or old NXP ?
they doesn't have the "X" new-marking on top, but not sure what to think.
if they seem to be old ones, I would be interested on buying a set as well. Would you care to share the supplier ?
cheers
