we had small gathering yesterday , 4 experienced pairs of ears , together having ton of vinyl and some well cared and exquisite listening gear
I can say that Babelfish M25 passed with all OK , being surpassed and thrown in bushes only because later I connected Papa's DEFiSIT ........
(OK , we all know that M2 , even on steroids , can't be contender with DEFiSIT , especially when that one is made properly and dual mono , while T-Bed , containing Babelfish M25 , is crappiest possible wiring with crappiest possible PSU , common for both channels)
to be frank , pleasure was all mine ..... looking at level of their amusement and later on level of disappointment , realizing that Papasits are unobtanium
however ... maybe I can find info what's the price of FW SIT-3 at nearest dealer , and pass to them

finally done , what I had as problem for more than few months ..... it wasn't a problem to buy new soundcard , bummer was that I wasn't able to make EMU1212 to work , in any program for FFT measurements and didn't had slightest clue what was a problem
well , when one ( ZM , Mighty ) finally engage power button of brain , approaching even boring things methodically , there must be some result ........
damn left channel output is defective and that was culprit of all problems !
so , solved what is for solving , made proper interface box (still lacking protection zeners for card input , but who cares) and made some measurements of Babelfish M25 (T-Bed iteration , so crappy PSU , crappy wiring)
I'm more than satisfied , especially when I got same 0.025% figure at 1W/8R , same as Pa's original M2

Hi ZM, as a result of this thread, I think I will try following.(watch your back..) I have THF-51s and other Tokin SITs and this tower.
Speaking of crappy wiring, I think I am specialized. 😀😀
For the one in the pictures I did not even use alligator clips!!
