Here is my approach to a one cabinet paradise, some metalwork/shielding will come next, but it really works as is, as expected there is a little 50Hz hum in the channel closest to the psu, but i have to crank the volume all the way up to really hear it. My plan is to shield the psu with some normal material with a fairly high permeability like normal iron, but for now i will just enjoy some records, and the wife will enjoy the higher waf of the one cabinet approach😀

When you turn it on, there is a surge in the v range at the output, so i put the caps. and no change in sound to my ears anyway.
A safety cap is a good idea. I use it in my system.
DC coupling is posible too with some care.

Right now dc coupling would be ok, since i am running through a commercial preamp with dc block, but i am building a dc coupled linestage with a relayvolume to be used in the future, and the relay volume will sound like a machinegun with the dc offset, and since i cant hear the difference so why not?🙂
.....Why not is fine by me. Just asking as was thinking on the same lines so I need to try and "see" if I can ear the difference.
Those 10uF?

Guys, first power up of the reg today. Unfortunately no luck: no LEDS, and the 10R is toasting (burnt my finger).... Any ideas?
I would first look if the transistors are stuffed right. It also happened to me that i swapped NPN with PNP.
Leds can be the wrong way around, so can elcaps.

Diodes can also be the wrong way around.
It must be a stuffing mistake because the PSU has proven to be working each time.
