Will be even more fun if it plays. I plan a gathering...
Not IF but WHEN 🙂
Thanks, Brian. We had a wonderful Sukiyaki yesterday. Only my son, my wife and me.
Had to clean the living room from a lot of my stuff.

Yes, it is for Mikes Symasym. I would like to make the Paradise PCB that way. Red with tinned tracks.
hi, who is your favorite PCB supplier? I offer to buy the first run of PCBs and heatsinks and distribute to whoever is interested....
routing 40% done....
I use MultiPCB. Fischer and PCPool are also good as far as i heard.
Looking forward for your design.

The red SymAsym boards came from PCBCART, Prototype to Production PCB supplier from China.
Quality is reasonable.

Thanks, Holger. I am fine with China too but i do not know how long lead time is. Payment may be in issue.

Great! I'll bet your living room was not so full of electronic components as that of a certain Japanese designer we both know! WE have two friends with us and their young son...fishing friends. Unfortunately the husband had a stroke two years ago nad is badly handicapped - but very courageous.
No big horn speakers, sure. But a lot of parts and tools. I may need some days to setup again. This time in my small lab in the cellar. I am not much of a christmas guy. I enjoy new years more. Tonight i am going out to see some old friends in a pub. Can not drink though because i have to drive. All the best, joachim
Beware the chinese good looking red boards.
Some of them use very bad quality copper so it is really difficult to solder.
Maybe you should consider handing this job to a local proven provider.
Please count me in for four boards and (depending on the costs) the heatsinks.
Maybe a GB for the resistors, opamps and regulators would be a good idea also.
Merry christmas to all

Regarding the Riaa caps, I see 2 x 20.4nF and 2 x 6.8nF
The 6.8 value (6800pf) is easy to find and my 1st choice would be Relcaps RTE - Polystyrene Film & Tin Foil, but 20.4 .... Can not find it anywhere.

Basically, I am with you, and I don't want to hijack this thread for that matter, but that's not true in this case. We have done quite a ot of group buys with pcbcart, and there are hundreds to thousands of boards from them floating around. Be assured: No problems with quality. And of course no problems with soldering, as boards are tinned (as is every professional made pcb unlesse you don't want it).Beware the chinese good looking red boards.
