Your DC coupled F8-like amplifier is a beautiful piece of work. Thanks for sharing it.

Finished PCB on heatsink.

.
Nice PCB layout, but where are the R1 and R2 input resistors and the optocoupler? Are they on the backside of the PCB?
@lhquam Wow, what sharp eyes you have. 😀
Yes, those components are on the back

Yes, I have spent many hours, days, weeks, months looking at PCB layouts trying to figure out circuits for which I had no schematics.

would it be possible to do a DC version "a la UDNESS" using a N Jfet (2sk209) and P mosfets at output FQA9P25?
UDNeSS, or You don't need Semisouth's

Someone askedby PM for PCBs for our DCSFAte.
This is existing product from Forst Watt.
So unless Nelson agrees, we shall NOT make them available or publish Gerber.
The circuit is published, so are the photos of both sides.
So no one can stop you making your own, for your own use.
Cheers,
Patrick

Someone asked by PM for the DCSFate schematics.
Again, this is existing Pass Labs product, so there is no schematics from me.
Unless Nelson might choose to publish.
Just for fun, I published a couple of simulations files :
First Watt website update
First Watt website update
If you are skilled with LTSpice, you will have no problem opening the asc files and play with the circuit.
Then someone else was brave enough to put the simulation into hardware, successfully.
But that he did with his own skills and understanding of the circuit.
And of course anyone is free to do the same.

Then people also asked for 2SK3497.
Until we have enough matched ones to offer in a GB, which will be earliest 2nd half of 2022, we cannot entertain individual requests.
But for this particular application, you can use IRFP250 or FQA28N15 instead.
The other builder actually used IRFP240.

Do the 2SK3497 really need to be matched for L/R channel?
I would be interested in 2 or pieces non matched leftovers...

I have not tried unmatched.
I always use matched devices.
> I would be interested in 2 or pieces non matched leftovers...
We are not geared to entertain individual orders.
Will cost us 600HKD minimum to handle, whether 1 or 10 orders.
We can only offer GBs when we have time and are ready.
Please use Fairchild as I suggested above.

I noticed that. That is why I was kinda surprised that the F8 was listed as such too (since it is kind of the successor to the J2). Maybe it will be a good year for greedy boys!
don't believe in everything you're reading on internet
