Zenductor

have named it "Zenductor", single channel, single-stage, single transistor,
single-ended Class A that comes in at 5 watts. Closest analogy would be a
solid state version of the Zen Triode from DecWare.

"That transistor will be a New-Old-Stock IRFP048 Mosfet, and Build Campers will be building a pair of naked mono-blocks.
In other news it looks like we will be able to do a Zoom event on Sunday."

So. By way of beating the drum, here's my Zenductor graphic.

Don Nelson.... thanks for the prize, but I already paid for one seat... IMHO, the true prize is if you explain what this thing does? The way yo do so well in FW. Yeah, we know about capacitor lives and the Sun goes super nova. ;-)

I'm not one of them Apple owners who happily use things having no clue what is inside... I don't need to know exactly how, but having more than just a general idea.

Remember the proofs in Physics where "the specific solution is left to the engineer" used to be peppered right after the author signed off QED?

I think it has to do with all of them resistors and the gate being at a different (higher) voltage than the source... but then the speaker is in line with Vcc and I figure the load is gonna affect the amplifier.

Wait, I think I got it....
