What would you estimate the directivity of one cabinet to be at ~1200Hz?
Hello Fredi, this questions is beyond my limited knowledge. Once this cab has a big flare at output I think the dispersion would be different horizontally compared to vertical position of the box.
For outdoor use I would use them in horizontal position while indoor it may doesn't matter much if you pointing them to where you are sitting.
To cross at 1200Hz it may depending from what driver you are assembling, For sure 1000Hz is doable for average drivers in the market with low Qts.
I tried to read the WLX style hornresp input stuff but don't see well- What corrections does "this" need?
To simulate the WLX box I used CH model from Hornresp. Check attached image.

Lookie -- PRV's 10FR300 ~10KHz peak comes out unscathed from LORDSANSUI's "Smallhorn3".
Aesthetically speaking, {IMO smallhorn3's proportions and mouth/angle are things of great beauty. If vented a slot port may look better than round ducts.

The vented version consider it placed on top of the mouth as you can see below. It would improve driver cooling a lot.
Another option might be place rounded vent in the removable panel, so it will be 90 degrees from the mouth, in this case might be better to consider the vent only for cooling and so High Pass the signal to "disable" the vent audio output.

Thanks - both of myu arms are racked with pain - frozen shoulder for 27 years and probably bone on bone so I need to keep a woofer/sub pretty light and small - I've only a few degrees of range w/o terrible pain and not much hope of getting better.. - - 140l external bulk might be manageable and don't need really low F although "do" ;^)
IMO my 0.83 scaled Klipsch Belle is a good performer and only a bit larger than smallhorn3. (Smallhorn3 built of 18mm is ~3.7 cubic foot external bulk. 0.83 scaled Belle made of 15mm plywood is around 4.1 cubic foot - but would be closer yet if the 1.125" tall base were omitted and back chamber cover made flush)

Hi LORDSANSUI - I'd like to add a subwoofer in the upcoming months (CUBO12 may do "helper woofer duty" to smallhorn3 soon)
Ideally I'd like something which is relatively small yet subjectively meshes well with smallhorn3. CUBO INFRA may be one but my cramped living situation may demand a design with less front to back depth. A35-40Hz tapped pipe for 10-12" driver might work () - what small sub approach would you recommend? A 6th order (peaked ~@fb) bass reflex could work.
Ideally I'd like something which is relatively small yet subjectively meshes well with smallhorn3. yes and interested - but only if one can made quite small - such as 150 liter external bulk. Even that is too large for my small living space. Is there a plan with hornresp model I can tinker with for scaling ?

Sure, to make them small you just need to use smaller driver, if you find a good small driver that fives you good low frequencies that will achieve your target. You will have less SPL, but for indoor used as you pointing you can manage that.
