"Adlai Stevenson" -- 2 LP's -- Interviews with the late US Ambassador to the UN, two time presidential candidate and governor of Illinois -- refreshing to hear his views 50 years after his death. He was clearly the last of the New Deal pols.

Stevenson and George Ball were sent to Paris in 1944 to begin plans for feeding Europe. The two of them would polish off a bottle of gin every night according to Ball's recollection.

I still have the album and just got it transferred to CD. Great pop album: you can listen to two tracks "In a big way" and "Live it Up" on YouTube.

Wish the instruments were all acoustic instead of machine made, that would be something.
