Question- where's the best place to implement a meter to measure current draw? Across a bias resistor with a DC meter or inline ammeter? On a stereo amp, would the power supply be the place to work from?

Either way is workable. The little amps use a 3A FS meter in series with the L in the CLC. Or you can sample voltage, e.g. across the R in a CRC, source resistor, etc. 🙂
I see pretty heatsinks and transformers too.
The "Indian Jones" archive is catching up to Nelson..
Well, maybe not quite, but I'm building a bunch of stuff to make to make room anyway. 🙂
