Two very good shows 🙂Just found this cool thread..........I recently acquired the Fringe and later Battlestar Galactica TV series BD sets, so been 'binging' on them in up-scaled 4k since I didn't get to see but a few 'bits n' pieces' of each during their runs.

The 10th awaits you.
I missed the DA blood splatter.
While simming circuits Saturday "Yellow Submarine" I thought of you when I noticed that in the beginning the props were properly counter-rotating, but later they went in the same direction. Someone must have noticed.
I've been watching Joyce Didonato's master classes on Medici TV. They are fun:

You have to sign up to see them all - about six hours total. They don't charge money for these so they want your email addy, but they don't send the annoying sort of emails.
On-line classical music videos: Opera, ballet, concert

Starring Peter Boyle; yeah, that's when it all started for Peter, in 1970.
I was in college when it came out, took my GF to see it -- now the Mrs. It was studied in film class as I recall. Lot of the stuff in the movie was happening in NYC at the time.
...and speaking of NYC - "Golddiggers of 1933" on the small screen with Ruby Keeler et alia. One of my fave period pieces.
Speaking of which, or whom -- one of my relatives got the whole family tickets to "No, No, Nanette" which Keeler starred in on Broadway (graduation present). One of the best presents I ever received.
PBS: "Memory Hackers" More science about human memory and therefore human perception for subjectivists to hate and deny. Matches up with some chapters in the well-hated (by subjectivists) book: "You Are Not So Smart".
"You Are Not So Smart".
Fits my world view. As a species, we're kinda blowing it. The rest of the residents know not to poop in their nests....MHO, which is subject to the same comment/title/quote/ad infinitum/ad absurdum/etc.
Head in the stars, feet in....well....*smirk*

"The Key" -- with William Holden and Trevor Howard AND Sophia Loren - about a Canadian tug captain rescuing ships in U-Boat alley. Can't believe I'd never seen this movie before!
A painful episode of "Doc Martin" after an even more painful episode of "George Gently"-- how I wish Jackie Gleason and some mirth was on the telly on Saturday nights after a 450 mile drive.
Edit -- the best of the past week was "Suddenly Last Summer" with Elizabeth Taylor, Katherine Hepburn and Montgomery Clift. I would recommend this movie.

Fav 'blast from the past': McCabe and Mrs. Miller. R. Altman at his best, Julie Christie and Warren Beatty at theirs. Always struck me as a glimpse into the reality of the real 'Old West', gritty and raw, and the people that populated that era. Not pretty, bleak, and no heros...everyone loses. Apply anesthesia as needed....
Ooookay....time for just general distractions...😉

Watched The Martian in 3D this weekend. We experienced no problems with the electronic 3D glasses.
Landscapes and storms were pretty good.

Tonight the sky might fall ...
While I missed the last episode of the series, I've seen most of them since Dr No, and must say that of the 10 actors who've filled those shoes since 1954, except for Sean in From Russia With Love, that I far prefer Daniel in the role - blasphemy, I know, but there it is.
