Sorry, Greg, trying to be too cute. The Mend-it-Mark / Tom Evans £25,000 phono pre-amp repair thread.
It's on bluray & 4k since 7.19.22 if that's what you mean.Waiting for a copy of Marty staring Ernest Borgnine
Ah! Thanks! Skipped through some YT videos recently, though couldn't figure out how it could be so costly.
Mend it Marks original video was reposted by another YT channel, and I watched it just earlier this afternoon. Forum decorum prevents me from expressing my true feelings about the unit, and the company’s copyright strike, but let’s just say that Louis Rossman hit the nail on the head for me.
David Mellor @ audiomasterclass.com had a very cute video on the subject as well
cheers

diyiggy, certainly far more retrained and nuanced these days - less surging testosterone, perhaps? While surfing YT for covers I across one of his collaborations with Alison Krauss performing “When The Levee Breaks”. While I’m still a huge fan of the PFC version with John Paul Jones, the Plant/Krauss take was quite a refreshing change from the heavier versions.
As for non musical viewing, I just finished 1883, and am currently 1/4 way through 1923. Watching the Montana Livestock Commission saunter into town on horseback with the mid ‘20s autos parked on the streets got me thinking that I’ve been married longer than the period of time between the settings for these story lines.
So, I guess any of us similar situations are officially old geezers now.

Watching the U.K. series “Vera” lately. My wife and I really enjoy her wit and her constant one-way banter directed at her subordinates is quite entertaining. Kenny is such a great punching bag!
Me an mamselle watching "Maytime" with Nelson Eddy and Jeanette MacDonald in "Maytime", a 1937 classic with tremendous performances!
We just finished watching The Residence on Netflix. It's an eight episode, entertaining, murder mystery set in the White House. If you're into classic whodunnits, it's worth a watch.
