What are you Watching?

Was ok, but the worst of the four with Daniel Craig.
And the bad guy was just too funny.

Starring Peter Boyle; yeah, that's when it all started for Peter, in 1970.

I was in college when it came out, took my GF to see it -- now the Mrs. It was studied in film class as I recall. Lot of the stuff in the movie was happening in NYC at the time.

...and speaking of NYC - "Golddiggers of 1933" on the small screen with Ruby Keeler et alia. One of my fave period pieces.

Speaking of which, or whom -- one of my relatives got the whole family tickets to "No, No, Nanette" which Keeler starred in on Broadway (graduation present). One of the best presents I ever received.

"You Are Not So Smart".

Fits my world view. As a species, we're kinda blowing it. The rest of the residents know not to poop in their nests....MHO, which is subject to the same comment/title/quote/ad infinitum/ad absurdum/etc.

Head in the stars, feet in....well....*smirk*

A painful episode of "Doc Martin" after an even more painful episode of "George Gently"-- how I wish Jackie Gleason and some mirth was on the telly on Saturday nights after a 450 mile drive.

Edit -- the best of the past week was "Suddenly Last Summer" with Elizabeth Taylor, Katherine Hepburn and Montgomery Clift. I would recommend this movie.

Fav 'blast from the past': McCabe and Mrs. Miller. R. Altman at his best, Julie Christie and Warren Beatty at theirs. Always struck me as a glimpse into the reality of the real 'Old West', gritty and raw, and the people that populated that era. Not pretty, bleak, and no heros...everyone loses. Apply anesthesia as needed....

Watched The Martian in 3D this weekend. We experienced no problems with the electronic 3D glasses.

Landscapes and storms were pretty good.

Good (((3D))) flick. :film:

While I missed the last episode of the series, I've seen most of them since Dr No, and must say that of the 10 actors who've filled those shoes since 1954, except for Sean in From Russia With Love, that I far prefer Daniel in the role - blasphemy, I know, but there it is.

Hi Chris, what a lovely day today! 😎
