♦ Last night I re-watched '3 Days to Kill' with Kevin Costner. ...On Blu of course.

I forgot to mention one thing about this flick (there are more things than just one), just for now:
=> The Audio: It sounds reverberant, you can tell it is not realistic for one second. The dialog is not natural; it has that reverberant tone as if it was recorded inside a telephone booth. And the gun shots; they are extremely loud and totally unrealistic (with high-pitch echoes too).
Overall the audio soundtrack simply doesn't match the onscreen action; it was grossly boosted on the audio mixing console.
* Next time I'll talk about filming (picture editing) errors.
Last night (Halloween) I was the revisit 'The Fountain' starring Rachel Weisz and Hugh Jackman, but for another day.
♦ Instead I enjoyed watching this flick:
[On Blu of course, and in 2D]

We live on a strange planet, with exotic animals (beautiful/gorgeous women).
When we walk through the jungles and the forests and the mountains' chains, we see amazing wildlife and fantastic nature @ work.
When we live in cities we see many humans, and many cars on streets and highways, and we can all smell them too (trucks, buses & all).
On/in the cyberspace (WWW of the Internet cloud) we have access to a full panoply of informations and toys (to buy).
Music and films are part of entertainment, just like marriages and children.
♦ Last night I revisited this flick:
There is something about Mel that keeps you transfix to him. ...Here it is even more so.
And that kid; he's good, real good...a natural.

Get the Gringo, definitely one of the more "old school" of Mel's recent films. The director's cut of Payback (Stright No Chaser) is pretty good also. I went back to an old classic, "The Third Man" and reveled in the wonderful dialog, framing, pacing, and acting. The slightly quirky music keeps the movie from being too gloomy.
An epic movie from 1984! The best year ever....

too farking clever and fast for it's own good, but still rather a fun ride
does it count if only streamed, and not on BluRay?

- ms J definitely can give rise to ruminations, but , oh, you meant the movie
He's got the whoooole woorld.. in his hands.
He's got the whoole woorld.. in his hands.
He's got the whoooole wide woorld.. in his hands.

Put the bunny back in the box.
I told you to put the bunny back into the box.
Why didn't you put the bunny back in the box?
I felt like an action movie tonight.
Con Air.
With the beautiful voice of Trisha Yearwood at the end of the movie:

As action movies go I think this is a very under-rated one.

Don't be silly Chris; we are between mature adults here...everything, anything is good.
We are not young kids from Internet forums who dream to be Hollywood stars. 😉
Yesterday I watched "real life" ... outside by the ocean on the West coast.
I saw the mountains over on the USA coast, and water that goes deep into the horizon (the sea), and sailing ships, and gorgeous looking women when I was cruising in town (Victoria ... secrets).
It was a beautiful Autumn day (real movie).
*** We live on a beautiful Island, with plentiful of women and beautiful as the leaves of a Fall season.

Absolutely not! ...I was curious if anyone here saw it; so that we can discuss it.

Anyway, I certainly don't recommend it @ all. ...To anyone.
* My own personal rating: 0% (out of 100%).
If this is the world we live in (different classes), then we might as well take the train through the Rockies. ...Canada, Alberta, British Columbia.
Please, don't watch this, and stay far away from showing that to your wife and children. ...I was completely disgusted. ...There is not one simple drop of redemption, none @ all, ZERO.
Can't wait to see this on Blu. ... Luc Besson ('The Big Blue') ... big fan.
Don`t bother it`s trash...
Twin Peaks
I've started watching Twin Peaks (in HD). Saw some of it when it originally was aired.

'Lucy', really? ...You saw it, @ the theater? ...You did not like it, @ all? ...She (Lucy) is not the 'second' supreme/perfect human being?

Is it a science-fiction flick? Yes it is, but in the form of an allegory.
...Sounds like a religious form of living, like hallelujah...doesn't it?
We're all rolling on a train, in different class compartments, like travelling baggage, with various contents. ...Some more precious than others? ...It all depends...of the value that we put in them. ...Human values, of different equality. But it's different for everyone.
...Power, money, control, creation, ideology, dictatorship, life's circumstances, rules of the jungle, obedience, violence, revolution, evolution, disintegration, ...and we use our children as the powering force to justify our actions.
That, and the control of energy. ...Like a perpetual movement alimented by the resource we find @ the time. ....Even if it destroys us.
And that train is doomed to eventually derail. ...And derail big time.
Then what? ...The few survivors will simply repeat history, but with new resources. ...It's like a vice, a virus, inside the immensity of the universe. ...A small human species virus. ...That keeps devouring us, the entire humanity. ...Like an anonymous disease, unknown, yet ignored.
'Lucy', really? ...You saw it, @ the theater? ...You did not like it, @ all? ...She (Lucy) is not the 'second' supreme/perfect human being?
The story i IMO stupid, but that`s my opinion.
