Them are not the 'Godzilla' or 'Pompeii' type in 3D.

1. Paul Walker's one of his last. ... R.I.P.
2. Akira Kurosawa (1963). ... Hi/Lo
3. Mafia and the codes ... (Lives discarded - emotionless)

Hmm, didn't notice that, primarily since I don't watch broadcast/cable tv.

Anyhoo, finished "The Machine" (2013). An indie sci-fi british film. Decent plot and characterization. Well directed and decently acted. Nothing earth-shaking, but time not wasted.

Ah that's why. 😉 ...You too funny Frank. 😀

I never watch TV; don't have time to let the world rule my life. 😉

* 'The Machine'; I've seen that flick before...pretty nice looking machine inside a movie which is more or less incandescent.

a pleasant surprise that sorta grew on me:

"The Sapphires"

"based on true events" - always leave one wondering where the artistic license takes over, even when co-authored by one of the main character's real life son

I found Chris O'Dowd's performance particularly endearing.
