2 and 3 are quite funny and real but 1 was part of a UK comedy programme called 'Drop the Dead Donkey' set in a fictional news room.
Feeling melancholic? People no good? Too many sociopaths, psychopaths and supermarket people around?
Supermarket people? 😕
Gordon.
Supermarket people?
The moment they see an electric mobility scooter, they'll make a run to the cash register.

(I wipe my bottom with bitcoins)
I soak in bitcoins on a regular basis (I purchased a hot tub, among other things, with them)
I mined them for only about 9 months with a couple of cheap Radeon cards, and ended up with ~$14,000 CAD.
I really kick myself now for not buying 8 or more high-end cards and running them much longer.
Watched a great documentary last night about The Doors. It brought back a lot of trippy memories. Great music for smoking and stuff. The band I was in at 17 years of age kept trying but not quite managing to play Light My Fire ( The 7+ minute version! ) We managed a fair rendition of Riders on the Storm, though it sounded odd sung by the guitar players brother in a broad Glaswegian accent. We never quite settled on a permanent singer. We wanted to write and play progressive rock but none of us were anywhere near skilled enough. The keyboard player, my long time friend could pull it off now, though he's went down a different route one that nevertheless is atleast , if not more so, challenging and creative than Progressive rock. One of his compositions was written to be performed on garden implements like shears and spades!, pretty far out!

Now IF it were legal and IF I were so inclined, this is the guy I'd get under the influence for:
Matt Lorenz- Eileen
One man band with home-built instruments, Tuvan throat singing, just... I have no words. Insane energy live. tubesguy and I saw him a few nights ago, and I suspect he'd say the same thing.😀

1966 song that spawned the garage / psychedelia rock revival in the 90's still holds up today

He's great but the lyrics are a bit dark on this one.
I understand David Bowie was a big fan of both Hasil and The Legendary Stardust Cowboy.

The band I was in back then managed to play this one right through, couldn't say the same though for Light my Fire, it is a complex as well as quite lengthy piece. Short mind you by the standards of some of the Prog bands that were to follow. I'm thinking of Tales from topographic oceans and The gates of delerium by Yes, for example.

I overdid The Doors 20 years ago and I don't have a lot of time for them these days. When I do, it is Morrison Hotel. I don't think I will ever get tired of "Peace Frog". " Maggie McGill" is another fav.

Cogitech I too over did The Doors a bit much around '91~ '92 and likewise got bored. That was around the time The Doors movie came out, that film had a profound effect on my tender and very open mind back then!
That documentary I watched the other night, brought back a lot of warm and fuzzy memories of that time.

Why the "IF" I thought we'd given up the pretence of hypothetical knowledge around the second or third page of this thread! 😀
