Keep showing us that audio porn! LOL
Haha!
This stage of our builds shows the spirit and uniqueness of DIYA, I also enjoy looking at all the fantastic audio porn from forum members 😀
Nice chassis work Nikosokey! Cutting, drilling and tapping is always a slow tedious task, but necessary! Oh, do I wish for a CNC station 🙂
nikosokey,
Nice work on the chassis - DIY chassis is not easy!
Zman !
Thanks for the kind words .
Yes the DIY chassis is not easy work ...

Vunce thanks for the kind words .
Yes a lot off hands work.....
Keep us informed about any audio differences if they exist between classic PSU vs SLB when you finish your amplifier ...
Very good your job Vunce as always!
Hi Nikeosokey, what is the part number and maker of the umbilical cord connectors? Nice work too, true DIY chassis🙂

@nikosokey
Nice work on the chassis! Coming along very nicely!!
@meanie
Is it making music already? Can't wait to hear your feedback with SLB PSU. I've modified a toroidal transformer once, what a pain it was!

Hi Pinnocchio,
Yes, it is working fine with the current 18Vac trafo, only slightly low on the +/- supply rail.
I will provide my feedback once I install the correct trafo, after some listening test.
PITA, those lengths of tape going round and round the donut!

Hi Meanie,
Your progress is looking real good!
Soon to be USSA5 triplets born 😀
Are you running without an input capacitor?

@Vunce,
Yes, I decided that the coupling caps be in my Yarra preamp, so I bypass the one in the USSA5.
I like your twin SLB setup in your chassis, very neatly done.
