Talking about a solution...
Really, randomly adding drivers to a balanced, designed loudspeaker design is not hifi but my-fi. Of course such an addition sounds different. But does it sound better as in: proven in some kind of scientifically accepted way?

There’s some good advice in there. Money attracts wrong ‘friends’.
no idea what youre talking about.
🤷♂️
lol
Look at a Ribbon tweeter that would sit on top of the cab. You could hook it to the speaker inputs with a small cap in series. Really the best option is to sell the speakers and buy something more to your liking.
i know the thread is long.
but I am not looking for a ‘ solution’
thanks
worst part is how expensive those speakers are new. i would just sell those overpriced speaker and build a real pair of speakers. dual 6" hit as much a Ronda Rousey (not much)Talking about a solution...

that’s nice to know.
but they aren’t yours.
they are mine, and I don’t want to sell them.
ha. Geez
read what the thread says
You were expressing a view about my speakers.
with someone else
so in the same light I was expressing my view , on your view. Lol
im glad that’s what you would do if they were yours.
weird hypothetical. But fine
do you often find the need to go to other peoples threads and comment when you don’t like something?
you must be more bored than I am.

Back to your external crossover board component arrangement.
I would keep the bass components separate from the treble components to minimise any interaction between the two sections.
And I am sure, because it will get warm in use, that you will space the resistor away from the capacitor.

Thanks so much Galu
yes of course a humble amature speaker builder. Ha
is there any arrangement I can make so it’s better?
thanks again man

Not in my humble opinion, but others may have pertinent suggestions.
P.S. I only commented on the layout, I have not checked that it is all wired up correctly.
An updated crossover schematic, indicating the polarities of the terminals and drivers would be useful.
i.e. Can you revise the attached crossover schematic for us in the light of the previous polarity discussions?
