Hi,
this is tailor made two chamber Bobbin ( not same as the china made one, use higher quality plastic that thinner & more strength for support) that will better improvement the band-width.
Two chamber bobbins seperate standard one chamber winding with about advantage which can possible lowest leakage inductance less than 0.3~5% and hence high frequency response.
Every primary & secondary winding of Pre-amp output will had 7-interleaved winding in same chamber.
Use triangle wave can see the phase was
improve by two chamber.

Wow, Thanks Thomas for sharing your knowledge. I'm a beginner so much of this is advanced to me. I'll keep on rereading and researching all your wisdom and hope to decode every bit of it🙂.

Ok the caps installed are Wima MKP 10 .1uf matched. Are these ok?
On the output stage of this dac I can use either 12at7 or 6dj8 type with it's stock configuration. 6dj8 seems to be more to my liking in non oversampling mode. 12at7 is pretty good with the SAA7220P installed but with 6dj8 it can be a bit bright sometimes in this mode.

I believe c109 and c110 are the output caps. There are two a channel and they are .47uf. So change these each to two .22uf's and one .01? Do you have any brand recommendation? Also if I just lowered the over all value it would reduce the low bass response?
On your v3 dac, I am kind of excited that you made it so one can just use a ide cdrom/dvdrom for playback. No need to worry about drives going bad in the future. How did you get the digital stream from them?

YM3623B cannot directly use into the Dac. it need modify.

That why I prepae small amont of 8412-IS & 8414 for diyers to choose ecause they can directly exchange.
U can try??? Is your 1541a use 3623B, can u post a photos to discuss.

I was count the price. If I can use USD 500 to prepare a enhance version M10 to all diyers. Are U had interest??
why I said enhance!! All the tubes of M10 use 0.2mm 45% nickel permalloy core Grid choke to exchange for the grid resisters. It need 8~10pcs per machine. output transformers was use oriential Hi-B 66X50 20~45Khz -1.5db ( Daburu Pre-amp OPT).
All the resistors was USE Dale or simlilar 1% metal film. contain chassis, 6072 was EH tubes. I had over 750 pcs 5687wa on hand. 5687Wa will follow with the kit. also 23 step, 4 layers mono volumn will follow with the kit.
Price was include all, U can choose all funish or not. cable was gotham cable.
I hope to collect some advise.
