Not the most frugal of approaches, and I mostly just used these boards with Wi-Fi not Bluetooth.
I've not used this particular board, but have used both the non-amplified and amplified 2 and 2.1 channel versions.
It seems that you can select Stereo or L or R from the android 4Stream app that controls the devices.
They have DSP, tho it's another $20 for the software. Currently, there is no ability to control delay, but after having asked, it seems that might arrive in the future.
Integrates with some Wi-Fi streaming schemes as well.
The arylic forum is pretty good with support.

Can you make CSRA64215 start up in TWS mode automatically when power is on ?
I guess one of the them have to be in TWS search mode and the other in TWS searched mode.

They start up automatically if the TWS button is used to pair them one time. It programs them to remember which is left and which is right.
Even microchip has fcc approved modules but you need to design the PCB for the module and configure them but unlike CSR devices these do not need proprietary hardware to connect to pc. Just your regular usb to serial works.

Do they go mono, or do they both have right and left channel ?They start up automatically if the TWS button is used to pair them one time. It programs them to remember which is left and which is right.
The AIYIMA units are mono. The one you push the button to do TWS unit-to-unit pairing becomes the right channel. This is independent of the pairing to the phone.
Yes, I was just wondering how it work with CSRA64215 stereo BT boardsThe AIYIMA units are mono. The one you push the button to do TWS unit-to-unit pairing becomes the right channel. This is independent of the pairing to the phone.
The CSRA64125 can support TWS, but it has to enabled (i.e programmed )by the vendor. There's a long thread over at the Digital Line Level forum about programming Bluetooth chips. Here's a link to a post (#26) about the CSRA64215: https://www.diyaudio.com/community/...d-tons-of-csr-info.349336/page-2#post-6291173.
To program the CSR series chip you need to use either of the following board and the software tool to configure the boards. But for apt-x and above you need codes that’s will enable the feature.
You can get the configuration software link on tinyosshop

Yes you can and there is a video on you tube - you will have to google and will get the link through shinyoss webpage. Can I use that to reprogram the name of this "CSRA64125 TWS" V. 1+ ?
But it’s doable.
Just a thought - why not look at microchip modules they are available on all major distributors digikey , mouser. And FCC approved for major countries and all tools openly shared by manufacturer
I m not taking sides but I read that CSR thread and so the issue everyone is going through.

I accidentally "fried" one of my two CSRA64125 TWS receiver boards. Where can I get another one (or an alternative with TWS) quickly to EU (Denmark) ? It is connected to a seperate amplifier

I wish there was a bluetooth module with TWS, line/aux out, external antenna plug and 5-40V supply voltage
