If your connection is the same as the one in post #525, that's fine, no need to do anything with it.
Across one single diode.
Anyway, 1.7 VDC is believable and I would think it is installed correctly. I want you to gain the tools you need to think and know what you are doing. Not to ask endless questions the do not lead you to learn anything. I'm not being mean, I want you to think.

thanks but thats not why i am here. i never wanted to become pro at electronics. i want to fix this amp and thats all. i am not doing this so i can do electronics for life in the future. i hope you understand. i will not ask for more question in the future thats for sure . you all have a good day or night 😀
i am taking your time you guys did help me but you guys have other things to do i am sure of that. so i will not work on this anymore. because i cant fix it on my own. i dont want to lie to myself.
28 pages later, I see that communication was difficult. Too many questions asked too many times, and too many answers given from different points of view. So many times a previous post could have been read for the answer, both ways.>>Today I had to look up the correct connections for a potentiometer. I get it. I could have used my meter. Should be second nature and all of that.<<<
FWIW, it can take me so much longer to learn than others. I am not totally disappointed here. Everyone did try at length to make headway.
thats exactly what is wrong i am confused. i dont know what to do, i know it should be simple to fix, it works (amp) xddd but just doesnt work well . i dont hate any of you i am really thаnк full but it just dont work the way i wanted i wanted someone here to just say with all info i provided what issue is 100% is it that hard ? this is simple board made by someone who is intermediate not on level of compelcity of a computer xdd
when i said i will not post here i mean i will not post same stuff again and again. even if i am not noob here i will get lost its simple really xd
i want to do it myself, i may change all sus components it may fix it, for example all caps and resistors there are not many it will not be expensive
