Dj le Roi, I have that amp actually and mine had some white noise when used in my desktop speakers. I put the recommended rc filter mod on the analogue voltage input and the noise was gone🙂 With that mod( not very easy btw 'cause of lack of space) the amp is quite good!

I finally completed my DUG-1 TPA3116 PBTL amps offered in the Group Buy section:

I use a modified Astron RS-12A regulated linear power supply to drive both PBTL amps in Master mode. I just split the incoming 14VDC power between the two boards. You will probably want to be sure your 24V power supply doesn't put out voltage over the limit of the TPA3116 IC.
If you can work with SMD components, I encourage you to try out DUG's PBTL boards. I'm listening to Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" right now, and it's sounding very good.

Nice! This is pretty much full-blown, I don't know if there is any more you can do to this amp? Maybe isolated AVcc power supply from a clean source? Must sound fantastic. I actually have this PCB, but still need to order some of the parts. I have the OSCON's, the fat Coilcrafts, some of the SMT's but really, really want those Cinemags! 🙂

I don't have smakn chinese amp. Audiobah boards came with some chinese caps that were ok till using them 2 months and comparing ampboard to another Audiobah and sounded as completely different amp. Ybdz came with Rupbycons, fake Rubycons, YJblue came with dry Jamicons that instantly became hot when measuring, all ampboards I built have Chemicon KZE/KZM. Indeed Hifi powerbricks I used with Audiobah died after 2 months, fake Nichicons were dead. No cheap Nichicons, fake Nichicons with tripod type vent I found upon opening brick. These chinese caps are very good if you compare them to worse.
(No reliable internetservice here till April, network repairs outside)

Yes, it's a small amp with a card reader that will decode mp3s and can use a small remote.
We have a few of those popping up around here, most will have bluetooth instaed of a wired connection.

Sorry I didnt take any pictures of the SMAKN amp board with the mentioned RC mod. But I can tell you that it turned into a messy hack job! I would only recommend it for someone with decent soldering skills.
Cheap chinese cards with built-in switching power supplies scare the heck out of me. Read up on counterfeit Apple phone chargers, several people have been killed by these because people haven't put proper engineering design practice into making a safe product.
If you use that card, use a 3 wire power cord and connect the card's secondary side ground to earth ground. At least this way if it fails in such a way that the primary/secondary side isolation is compromised, it won't become electrically live.

Yup, this one looks decent too. This amp is also made by Sanmin - the shop that made the TPA3116 that we are using. I suspect the quality would be OK. The soldering (on the back side) looks quite good.
As gmarsh commented, I'll never buy any of those amp cards that are supposed to hook directly to main. Too risky. I have heard horror stories about these. One day it work OK, next day, pop, smoke, fumes.
