Ooook, a ultrabeginers question, is the 'vcc' on blue board the same as 'DC+' an new board? On blue board DC -in is marked vcc and gnd, but on new board there is DC + and _ marks.
I have same board and 32 or 36dB gain (I forget which) is nice for playing from phone as source. Nice vol pot on/off switch feature. Very compact but appears to be missing post LC filter output snubbers that YJ blue board has.
Hi all
Could someone confirm if the component values for the YN clone of the Audiobah green board are the same as the YN Black/Blue board? If not could you point me in the right direction?

values are in silkscreen, not same as audiobah or yjblue, outputfilter is really 8 ohm I believe, but didn't look at pic now.
also remember that yj uses whatever components available, for smd that means you need to measure them to know if they are what silkscreen tells you

Thanks Irribeo! It's never easy is it? 🙂
YJblue came with silkscreen 680nF for outputfilm, 560nF yellow films were on the yjblue some productionruns, same with yjredboard. Silkscreen for smd outputcapacitors YJclone AC1308/audiobah tells us 680nF, alas smd doesn't show prited value as the filmcaps did. So you need to measure. Audiobah/1308 has 22uH inductors and 1uF outputcapacitors, YJclone should have 22uH inductors and 680nF, that is in print...
Audiobah/ac1308 has two time 100nF ceramics for PSU decoupling, YJclone has 1nF and 100nF there.

xrk,
You are right, the gain on mine is 32 db too. I actually like it. However, I recalled someone mentioned somtime ago his board (looked the same) was set at 26 db. So I guess it depends which lot one gets??
Quick question about the YJ blue/black board, power connector side. There's obviously the 3 smd under the heatsink which are 1nf, 100nf (the power bypass) and 10nf which must be C57 on data sheet. My question is to confirm the order on board. It looks like the 10nf is nearest the lc filter end, with 100nf in middle as the other side is, then the 1nf is at the input decoupling cap end - which is opposite end to the 1nf of the opposite side of IC.
Did I get this right? Hope so as I've replaced the smds with leaded!!!

hi i have question about :TPA3116D2 Boards - diyAudio
labeled breeze 2.1, when potentiometers are set on half there is some high frequency on output, but when moved either side this effect goes more quiet, does anyone know what could be problem? thank you very much

but still there was no complete solution to hiss, just masking suggestions? can i ask is this layout problem so cant completly be fixed?
you can fix noise peaking around mid position volumepots, if you also have another problem you might be able to fix that in another manner.
Perhaps the Wiki could be updated regarding the potentiometer.. It says 50k atm so perhaps it should say 10k if there is a variable hiss problem?

Just curious, what evidence are available to establish that it was the impedance of the potentiometer that is causing the hissing problem?
Could it be that the potentiometer that was causing the noise was defective? Has anyone tried to replace the pot?
It is kind of strange that only in the middle setting of the pot that noise became audible. Those pots that came with the amp are those low cost plastic film type (someone correct me if I am wrong). So I would not be surprised if it was not working "properly".
Regards,
Danzz,
If you do bridge it let me know how that works out as I may need to do same to drive a bass unit in a FAST. They probably mean PBTL mode. The main thing is for $6 how can you go wrong? Maybe we should start a new TDA7492 thread? Or maybe one exists already. It takes 3 weeks for Aliexpress items to ship but one can't complain about free shipping from China.
Just found this thread:

I just got my TDA7492's today and hooked them up. They sound very nice! Need more time to evaluate but I am quite blown away given the $8 price (as low as $6 depending on seller). Build quality is decent with a massive aluminum heatsink. I will report back later but so far so good. Is there already a TDA7492 thread somewhere?
