That's almost half of our annual total (118 cm) here in this rainy city.I think we are close to 50 cm already this month.
As you know Joe, this is the eve of the heat dome of last year June 28/29, and we are again having some pretty warm temps.

It's the rainy season here. Started in mid April. Since then we've had 215cm of rain in two and a half months.
Complete weather panic in the UK now! 40C predicted.

I have got fed up with the heat. Endless watering required in my garden.

Can't sleep at Night. Nightmare. Please let it rain. 🙂
What we are used to. Fog and damp would be appreciated.

40C in the UK? That's nuts!! Where is the heat coming from? I know a lot of your warmth comes from the Gulf Stream, which originates just offshore from where I used to live. But it never (that I know of) gets to 40C on the Florida Gulf coast.
I'll take the heat in northern California as long as the fires don't get the best of us. Good spring rain means a lot of dry grass in the summer.
It is the bare ground that got left behind after it all got burned off over the past two years while we had no shade from aircraft trails.
The bare ground heats up more quickly.
We had the smoke cover when it was burning. There is less to burn this year.
There is still no aircraft trails because the baggage handlers discovered that they could work for internet shopping companies for the same money and rent a house for less than a tower block flat near an airport just down the road from there new work places.
It has sent out weather crazy.

I have never known a situation like this! 😕
Even the Horses are refusing to run in the extreme heat!

5 meetings called off!
I thought Global Warming was a gradual process. It is worse than that. 😱

5 meetings called off!
Five race meetings on Monday and Tuesday have been cancelled because of the forecasted extreme heat.
Monday's meets at Beverley and Windsor have been cancelled, as have Tuesday's fixtures at Chelmsford City, Southwell and Wolverhampton.
Temperatures could hit 40C in parts of the country next week and the Met Office has issued a red warning level.
The British Horseracing Authority said the courses fell "either within the warning area or are situated nearby".

Think of it like an FR graph. Smoothing helps us see general trends(climate),
but full detail shows us those crazy jagged spikes and dropouts(weather).

I've heard more about the dire weather and fire conditions in Europe since my recent post (whine) about conditions in northern California. I hope conditions improve for those of you in Europe sooner than later. HeyBill
