due to nature of circuit - cap on output , lesser impedance of biasing circ (10K) and few other itsibitsies , gate leakage is less critical in Singing Bush than it is in SissySIT
no , you don't need another project
just go (more) fishing instead

That's one bad advice 😛
well , better fishing than partying , especially these days
🙂
Well, true that. And anyway I'm more in a need of a good preamp for SissySit and future projects. But I guess that is on it's way to store 🙂
take care of these mains NTCs in lousy plastic connection blocks
better to use black ones , with proper screws , where you must use eyelets for everything , and plastic is much better

well , heat of NTCs itself , from experience - can't melt them ...... but NTC is having solid core leg , while these are having lousy screw connection ( even if some having intermediate metal tab between screw and wire) , where you have potentially bad contact, and you know that results in heating with time
it is really optimized/made for strand wire , not for any sort of solid core , which is simply giving up of pressure in time

Ahh..I see
How bout crimping? Also what do you do so it won't loosen with time? I had bad experience so just solder them after crimping. Depending how it looks
. I like wago.now. Use spring loaded clips similar like pheonix contact. Reliable.

solder wire eyelets on NTC legs , then bolt/screw them
cunning to use some silicone isolator tubes there on NTC legs , instead of heatshrink
wtf , what is proper term here - bolt them , screw them ?

I made pcbs for them
use raw pcb material , all you need is exacto knife and drill
Noted.. Danks
Yes 🙂
Now I have it proper.
Not that it didn’t work the other way for six years. As long as I have time may as well do it right.

ya know the saying - Murphy is the King of Drek
I'm sure that things would work if I made it in shittttttiest way , when making for my self
but , when I'm making it for someone else , it'll burn the house
so , habit of doing it properly pays off ..........
