Zen Mod,
Did the boards you ordered for the GB change layout or size? I’m starting to layout the amp section and I’m planning on using the boards from the start of the thread as a template.
Thanks,

no changes
well , dunno , there maybe are few changes, routing optimization , and I believe that I added pads for additional motor-run cap ( if you wish that) as bypass for output cap , situated on Mu pcb
however , no substantial changes in layout and size
see attached renders from Gerber viewer thingy; no dimensions shown but , as I said , no change ref. what's posted in few first posts in thread

What do you think about me putting a hole for the source pin of a THF-51 in between the existing source and drain pins for the 77B On the board?
That way the THF can go in the same place as the 77B.

think about best routing
speaking of SIT Gain pcb ........ wire going from upper pcb , having proper wire eyelet and bolted directly to SIT Drain
tiny wire going from Gain pcb, soldered to Gate
tiny wire going from gain pcb , soldered to wire eyelet, bolted directly to SIT Source ; same wire eyelet is having fat wire , routed to PSU GND
neither from signal purity side nor from energy transfer side you need that gain pcb being ditto on top of SIT itself ...... practically power transfer wires are ditto on SIT , while you have just 2 (wires) connections between pcb and SIT - one is GND ( Source), second is Gate route - used for biasing and modulation
even in case of 2SK77B - pcb is bolted on , but energy transfer wire eyelets are still bolted on SIT itself with pcb just being sandwiched
incorporating pcb on top of funny THF51 case would just made things more complicated -some special bolts arrangement etc.
in time when kits starts shipping , I'll make proper photo tutorial or decent sketch
hope I'm clear with above explanation .....

New PCBs are looking good.
I have a pair of 2SK182E and another pair of THF-51S SITs to experiment with. The 2SK180 SITs are being saved for something else..
Looks like my two new chassis are finally moving out of China. The plan to build the 2015 Schade Enabled amp, now the Singing Bush, includes a pair of 3.5U, 300mm deep chassis as monoblocks with a Plitron 625VA, 50V transformer in each. The Plitrons were originally purchased for a different project, but I can't think of a better use for them now than a pair of Singing Bush monoblocks.

Words of warning - do not over torque the electrical connections! Too much torque will break the plastic housing.
That is my personal experience. 😱
Luckily, no electronic damage. 🙂

Yep, Ben Mah!
Datasheet says circa 1.5Nm or 13lb.in..
So, please tourque with 'feeling' or 'sense'.... 😀

perfect way of going from here ....... and nice number - 92
he's drinking mead with Vikings now , finally at peace

I'm feeling kinda sick and. hopefully next week I will still be posting. 😛 I'm in the mood to create an SIT amp and, I have a pair of 182's from Toki(o/n). I want second harmonic and low THD, don't care about output wattage. Are you still selling boards for 'Singing Bush' ? Or, do you advise something other than ? Your advise is gold. Duh sorry, had to edit. i know it's dumb question.

hope you'll post next week , same as any other Greedy Boy around ...... and all non-Greedy Boyz all over the World ...... 🙂
yup , no problems for kits ( I'm feeling well , but also hoping to post in future
)
though , some quantity of pcbs are Customized, plane flights are stopped for now , so everything is on hiatus up to normalization of flow of goodies
though , sooner you hop in line , sooner you'll get them
Singing Bush or something else ........ regular drill of questions and replies is :
-how big your room is,
-how loud you're used to sing with how loud your speakers singing,
-which speakers you have ?

I have a smallish room so, 5-10 watts would be good. I have a bunch of Toshiba sk170's just waiting for something to do.,
