This two-way uses inexpensive drivers from the local electronics store. There is vertical bracing on sides and back with bitumised Al foil and Dacron stuffing. Xover is external at 3K with a Linkwitz-Riley 12db roll-off.

Still missing a sub...but room gain & C. ( cervellotic ) makes the rest 🙄
Just hanging them on something, powered by a cheap combo.
It's a 15" from kenwood-Trio K777, the mid is the popular Audax PR17Mo,an Audax TW025016 for the treble and a B&C DE7, which is the only with 3rd order and L-Pad, the rest is ( hopefully) 6 dB/oct 🙄

Very nice work!
Don't have a real beauty shot of them and on this photo they are not yet 100% finished.
I use them in the livingroom for some occasional listening (no permanent setup there). So I needed (excuse me, wanted) something smaller speaker that is easily carried over the hallway into the livingroom.
It's a 2-way (obvious) consisting of a Visaton KE25 tweeter and SEAS W18EX001 mid-woofer. Driven by a pair of Hypex AS2.100 modules.
At the moment of writing this post I'm also building a small subwoofer to add some oempf to the lower end, it's a closed box with a CSS SDX-10 that will be LT'ed/DSP'ed/EQ'zd flat down to 35hz. I created a facia to cover the ugly rim.

Indeed they look really good! They're huge, but the dimensions almost suggest that its an oversized bookshelf speaker, looks really cool 🙂
I'm sure that its ok to link to another site 😛 gogo!
These are really nice DIY speakers.
They use the Eton 12 inch woofer, Scanspeak Carbon Fiber mid and the expensive Focal TLR Tweeter. The cabinet is really nice.
Here's pics.

^^ beautiful workmanship on the construction. But putting wide dispersion speakers so close to the wall in a bare untreated room is pretty pointless.
Hsmeets:
Those are some really nice looking speakers! What is the overall height, width and depth of the speaker boxes? Curious about the enclosure volume as well.

The cabinet is approx (metric)
35cm tall
30cm deep
24cm wide (at the widest point)
Total hight with stand is approx 110cm.
The volume of the cabinet is about 8 Liters
Beware: The 6.5" Seas driver that I used exists in 2 version, this is the one with the bigger magnet.
My new diy.

New 3-way multi-system has been completed.
[Specification]
Over 5.4kHz:FOSTEX T925
From 370Hz to 5.4kHz:JBL LE35 to the Coral AH500 horn.
Up to 560Hz:Installed the JBL 2215A to the 500 Liters sealed box.
Level of the JBL 2215A is decreased from about 400Hz. Therefore, high cut frequency has to 560Hz, instead of 370Hz.
In addition, when set to 8dB boost at 40Hz turnover frequency, play beyond the frequencies below 20Hz.
[Quality]
Can hear very delicate and realistic sound. Can feel the signs of a performer. Instruments and voices can feel in the floating on a nothing field of vacuum space.
Because of the size and business constraints, low frequency of most commercially available speakers feel unnatural. (for exaggerated of low frequency resonance)
However, like this time, in the case of a flat frequency response, because not self-assertion, feel not unnatural. (do not feel the presence of the bass rather)
Original channel divider (24dB/oct) and main amplifiers (Lux A501)
Internal channel divider
Appearance of the speaker
Overall frequency response (distance is 60cm)
[Photo2] (distance is 20cm all)
Bass of frequency response of the original
Bass of frequency response corrected by low boost
Midrange of frequency response
Treble of frequency response
