I don't get it, why should it be either sound good, or look good? If you can make a speaker sound amazing, why leave it as raw ply? Finish the job.
Where do you live in new york city that your living room is big enough that it is so hard to have a great speaker for it?

My system very unfinnished.Looking to build bass horns and i was going for an all horn setup but since my diy ribbon tweeters have been so successfull,im sticking with them 🙂
UPDATE!
It has a long time since I posted my system - here is an update...
I have replaced the fixed Scope Screen with an AT version (the fabric is SmX, but it is sold in Australia as Acoustic Vision) and this allowed me to place the LCRs behind the screen for a much more accurate sound/picture match.

Thanks.The cd player is a shanling CD-T 100se.Speakers and amp are to be much improved.I Will post an update when i get most done.Dennis5587 said:

i now keep those JBL speakers in storage along with the stands ... im not even sure where that subwoofer is 🙂
