It is true that there are costs associated with each layout choice. Only time can tell 😉 . There are costs for loops, long parallel lines, spacing between tracks, decoupling techniques etc. Although we can infer the expected performance of a PCB by looking, only by stuffing it and testing the amplifier will we really know. Paul will tell us soon enough 😉
Hi Paul,
That could be called having a warm mid and a high definition high
, lets say its like basking in the warm glow of the sun at sunrise, taking in the fresh morning air and hearing the birds chirp

Hi guys!

very nice work!!!
your tracks and pads looks very sharp.I'm sure you will be fine.my most common errors usually wrong value mostly resistor.when I finished populating it I always check value using lens for repairing watch.its very cheap and very useful.
About my coil, it came from sloan amplifier.its winding and turns are standard for 1uh.(18 turns,16awg-thickness in 1/2" diameter) in parallel with an eight or ten ohms resistor.have it confirm also to Harisson if this is ok.
about the two resistor I have told you(4.7k) make it 1/2 watt, it will be hot.
regards,
joel

You forgot to screw...
screw those driver transistor specially the bias transistor or you will have thermal runaway.use bulb when powering up andconnect in series with the transformer.
about the trimpot did you set it on the middle before soldering it.?and dont forget to check components value.
goodluck😉

joel
p.s.
check also driver and power transistor for possible contact on main heatsink.I see no insulation on driver and bias transistor

I would vote for late afternoon during peak traffic, people shouting, boom boxes in background, heavy exhaust smog, hooters blowing, revving, brakes all at once and very smudged.

Nice job, you seem to have it under control.
Hi Paul,
I hope all worked out. What source, pre amps and speakers at your disposal for taking your new amp for a spin. You could give us some shots and also shots of the power supply.
kind regards,
Harrison.

Hi Nico,
shots ? This is a very you know , term that could represent many things, eeeh which ones dont you want 😉
