Hifi0101 Best Amp is Apex sr200.Sound is very very sweet.Like chocolate.what is studio reference amplifier? 😵 eh . what is the difference between normal amp vs studio amp :/
Can I use BC 550 BC 560 replace with bc547. Bc557 .Or other options for better performance .Sr200
go with 26mV Mr. Stuart already mention that is the optimum setting for bias 🙂

That looks like 230mV (0.23V) , about 10x what others have suggested and will mean the amp runs quite warm.
Assuming all is as expected, the meter should read 0.026 or 26.0 two meter setting down, ie on the 200mV scale.
You may prefer the sound overbiased but it runs the risk of overheating.

Juan sir I change 2 .1st 1k resistor to 1k5 and 10k trumpet got 57 milvolt .2nd when I pause music then hum coming..After when I play music then hum lvl is low
did you add the GND wire from the power supply is not connected the negative input sound like a GND problem
I am not using protection..And when I use 1 k preset after I short input then mm say 230 mv .After I use 2k .Then I short input but no reading .When I open input then say reading 45mv.after I use 10k pot I got 55mv.
1st 2 pictures is inputshort .And 2nd open input.but I pause music then amp say terrible sound (burrrrrr)..I attach PSU ground with input grd wire.(I wate lot of money and time) I hope some 1 help me
At last my sr200 working fine after many trouble. But its sounds like 30 -40 watt not 200 watt. I check it so many times but no error found on the PCB. I m just rookie in this field. So plz help me. I spent two week on it, I think time is most value able think
