When I was teenager, magazines (car or motorcycle) always seem to have three adds in the back, the "build muscles fast", the "how to attract girls" and some sort of "how to get rich quick" book. Also the adds for insurance often featured ladies in bikinis. Now magazines cost the same as a book, the last one I bought was HiFi world.
Reminds me of the Charles Atlas advertisements I used to see in my grandfather’s old Popular Science magazines!
