No, alcohol won't solve your problems but neither will milk, so grab me a cold one while you're up.
My wife once asked me if I would marry again if anything happened to her.
I replied dont think that way.
She said but would I ?
I said probably.
She said would yo usell the house we both lived in.
I said no.
She said would you sell our bed.
I said no its a perfectly good bed.
She said would you sell my golf clubs.
I said yes.
She said why ?
I said she's left handed !

Just told my grandkids that I was older than the internet.
They think I'm joking.
I remember Prestel which came before the internet.
Like Teletext bot over phone lines.
We had a v21 (300bps) acoustic coupler at school, hooked to a pdp10 - that got me hooked on computing!

In 1981 the first company I worked for designed acoustic couplers and modems. The acoustic couplers were 300 baud ! My broadband now is 55Mbits.
They also designed Prestel adaptors.
🙂
In 1981 I was designing large sound systems for concert halls.
In 1984 I moved to a start up to design modems using the new game changing AMD 7910 "world modem" chip. That integrated V21, V23, V22 (1200 bps duplex - wow!) and Bell 102, 103 standards. We had some of the first samples in the UK!
We then designed V22bis modems using one of the first real commercial DSPs - TI 32010, then V29 fax modems...
Fun days!!

I'm older than chips(ICs) and LEDs
But a few here may be older than transistors.
Burnt my fingers many times on tubes as a kid, don't miss 'em.
