Yes I saw that too. I guess the only difference is the colour. I have had the black version in my Wishlist at Solen for quite a while. 🙂

Now, go acquire and measure SB15NAC35 - it will go even better. Actually this is driver which is testing distortion of your measurement rig, rather than setup testing distortion of the driver... See 4th and 5th order going down while raising voltage to 5.6V, amazing.


Vifa (now Tymphany) NE-series is also worth checking further. NE149W shows extreme level of fidelity as well. It is still overally better driver series than over-hyped Satori.

I was actually going to make a comment similar to yours, except that I already picked out the SB15NBAC35-4 as my midrange for my next loudspeaker, nicknamed The five voices loudspeaker (5 drivers) 🙂

Not so clean as expected but fortunately consistent, not like those MWxxP with their edge problems... 🙂 Unfortunately CSD looks not that good. Are you sure the noise in environment was well controlled?
