-very expensive, but rather excellent!

..absolutely begging for a larger diameter shallow waveguide. 🙂

Thank you very much for this my good friend.
I was wondering is SB15NBAC in plan for measurement ?

Yes, thanks to helping of a forum member which kindly ready to send that driver on testing I hope we will see the measurements in January, 2019.
I recently acquired a pair of SB26CDC-C000-4. I'm assuming the measurements are similar to the SB26ADC-C000-4.
And I believe it. These are the nicest tweeters I've ever used. I'm too lazy to take out my mic and gear to measure these days...
Mike
Thanks for measuring and posting.

Whoa! Sharp contender, top HD results in midbass to low midrange! But it still lacks dispersion and CSD performance of SBxxNAC family

I have to agree that SB is better, but... at 65% higher price🙂Whoa! Sharp contender, top HD results in midbass to low midrange! But it still lacks dispersion and CSD performance of SBxxNAC family
We'll see when compared to SB15NBAC.
To me it looks like perfect driver no matter the price. When you consider its price, you get the picture what rip off manufacturers like Wavecor, Scan Speak, Visaton, Seas and other conduct.

I agree. For the project I have in mind, using multiples, I'm not seeing the advantage of the SB for the $, but we'll see what the local distributor does price wise for a bunch of them.To me it looks like perfect driver no matter the price. Thanks again HiFiCompass for all your hard work.
I got fooled by those distortion measurements at hificompass, i first compared drivers at equal voltages instead of sound levels so 8ohm drivers looked overly good compared to 4ohm drivers, like sb17mfc 4ohm compared to satori mw16p 8ohm where the satori first looked so good, but at a closer look it actually performed poorer then the sb17mfc in some areas
If i order it anywhere, it'll be through hificompass out of respect for all the good work he does for us diy-ers.
My way of financing future measurements and getting some nice drivers in return 🙂

Looking forward to seeing the results of this. 🙂
