If you didn't want to use an Amanero, could there be a plugin U.FL connector daughter board?
Agree. I also would like to have some reserved u.fl soldering pads onboard, even if it is not populated by default.
I do not want to deal with the commercial side of the project.@ppy: How about a GB thread for this design?
Jesper
In 30-40 days I will collect and check two options. After that my friend will open GB.
But the quantity will be limited, since I do these boards manually and in my spare time.
I prepared two versions of the release:
The first for the DIY community with great opportunities to change the design - v2.5.2
- You can install Amanero along the board or the second floor.
- Replaceable output module with Chinese transformers or Lundahl LL1527xl
- The output module can be placed on the third floor or under the main board.
- You can disable built-in LDO
- It is possible to put resistors of any size 0603-1206
The second release v2.6.2 is made on the same board with the possibility of replacing the transformers.

DSC is designed to work with Amanero. A MUTE signal is required for this DAC.

Dear PPY, please put me on the short list. 2.5.2 is fine for me. An assembled one is much preferred.
Do these boards contain 2 exact copies, mirrored channels? May one cut a board in half and use them separate?
Pu me up for 1 possible 2 pcs of 2.6.2 please.

I would like the transformer out option. So, I ask for a 2.6.2 PCB together with components, if possible.
For the assembly I can work on it, except the smaller footprint components (like the LDO)
Thanks Pavel

It would be much easier if Pavel could offer blank boards so he doesn't have to do all the assembly by himself. 🙂 I'm in for whatever you will offer.
Pavel,
Just would like to clarify, v.2.5.2 will come with the transformers? Whereas v.2.6.2 does not?
I have some transformers lying around that I would like try, therefore I do not need the board to come with transformers.
When you said, ....by hands......, did you mean you plan to solder all the components (registers, resistors, caps etc.) onto the PCB yourself? If that's the case, it will be a lot of work!
Regards,

The channels are completely isolated except for the MUTE control circuit.
The board can not be cut in half.🙂
As soon as I check the performance of this release, I will give the gerber files for self-production in any quantities. It would be much easier if Pavel could offer blank boards so he doesn't have to do all the assembly by himself. 🙂 I'm in for whatever you will offer.
You can agree on any configuration.Pavel,

Yes, I soldered manually at home. That is why it is difficult for me to satisfy all comers.
I'll pick up a 2.6 whenever available, single board is a nice clean option and tranny output suits me fine.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Pavel,
Thank you for the fast response, much appreciate. Your point is well taken.
Just curious, would you have an estimate (just a ball park number) on the cost of an assembled board without the transformers?
Thanks!

PPY,
Please advise how to order or purchase completed assembly including output transformer and power supply unit as well.
I had DSC1 but would like to upgrade to DSC2. Please advise.
Thank you
