I've received my amp/smps this morning.

Judging only by the look of the boards it seems really solid build. I'll mount the capacitor boards and then I'll get back on you to have some informations about the wiring.

I'm happy to have not asked for refund 😀

Hi Maxidcx, This is your package started Yesterday.
In your case, yes, same connections becouse you want use two SDA-400 by one DPS-400 as 4Ch. all input board have same connections in all model.
I have some question via pm.

P.S. This input pcb allow simple connection without absolute noise or problem, consider that inputs scheme is a delicate parts of amplifiers. all is well tested, quiet and stable. I repeat it's not a super amps but mature delicius for amateurs. I want promote this Kit in France also. 🙂

Regards

Hi Roberto,

I have solder the capa psu board but I'm missing one resistor and one decoupling capacitor:

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Received only 3 resistors and 19 capacitors

Alexandre
I'm Very happy you have received the pachage.
Ah...well, just change error instead of 10Pin connettors 😛
I send small package for this, no problem, I want you have same on PBTU-3. for now, you can solder any res 10K to 22K as pair. this need only for pull down the voltage, just if you disconnect power DC connectors. just for safety, no other.
Sorry for this error, but period we chose very poor for Kit.

I have found a resistor 15k in my toolbox same value as the one you send me but I have no substitute for the capacitor.

And don't worry it happens 😉

If I miss one decoupling capacitor can I still use use the amp or it's better to wait? At least I can try one amp 😀

Alexandre

Ok!

Btw I'm still trying to figure how you can win money selling this kit 200 euros considering all the bundle (amp/smps/psu/entry board) and the quality of the components... Pretty amazing!
You are right, ..I want demostrate that the opportunity offer by quantity well selected, and a good job, can offer high quality products, complete in all functions,as protection, relay gold contact, offset guard etc, is possible instead of a product with only smd parts without protections and without problem solved as audio response.
I hope this GB can help DIY also, when buy a simple smps, ask... it is for audio? or ..lamps 😀.

Please explain

Hi,
I prefer that the stages have a very low EMI and excellent rejection instead of sync. Some have mounted everything on a piece of wood, such as demonstration of immunity to noise or frequency beats.

Regfards

I want my multi channel amps working IN SYNC with the same carrier frequency to prevent any intermodulation distortion, especialy in stereo mode between the channels . My class D amp is sounding marvelous in 5.1 , but in stereo mode it's not good , the rest of my stuff is pretty good , and if I connect one of my other stereo amps ( class AB) it sounds perfect .
I am pretty sure the problem lies in the different carrier frequencies of my current ( Self oscillating pre filtered class D) amplifiers , so please answer my question .

Cheers ,

Rens

And the rest of my setup for my active speaker:

Now I have to put all this sh** in a 43cm*43cm case 😀

Hi Rens,
I quite understand what you mean, It is no longer used the sync. a good project is taken care of in the choice of the stages that comprise it, it takes experience to "see" some things.
Even if I do not know your amp, I think I understand.

Try these amps if you can. while you listen, you do not think the class D.

Roberto can you please tell me what is what on the sda-400 balanced/unbalanced connector because I want to connect my dac directly on the amp board. Can you please tell me where to connect for unbalanced setup and balanced.

Alexandre

Hi Alexander, If you can, use Flat cable & input board,
ALPS pot, put at the max (R=zero).

In the meantime, this is the connector on the SDA-400.
