Yes, I do have one or two PCBs left. The one with the output buffer is not done yet.I need to get me some of these boards! Have they reached production maturity yet?
We’ll. It is playing music. No hiss or hum! Driving the F6. Sounds very full right from the get go. Needs time to break in, so I’ll throw several hours of CD’s at it. Started off with Louie Bellson/Jazz Giants. It’s kinda my westone bridge.
The cable is mogami 2944. Ya gotta love those Salas I/O boards!
Thanks RA7 for a very honest pre…it is truly very well designed. I would encourage anybody to give this a build.
I’ll bring more impressions after break in & comparison to a few other pre’s I have.
Only issue are the LED’s for the selector switch not working…not sure what yet as they were pre-tested. Always something ehh.

Gorgeous speakers!
Hello,
I have a question on the 102/202 bypass capacitors. I used 82 uF for C102 and C202. I used a 10 uF film capacitor for the bypasses because that's what I had on hand that would fit. Is 10 uF too big of a value to use as a bypass for 82 uF?
Thanks,
Alan

Thanks for that! Interesting discussion but it veered off into supply decoupling. The cap here is more for shunting AC to ground and allowing the setting of the DC operating point. Kinda like the tube cathode bypass cap. In my testing, I could hear that cap. It is a necessary evil, unfortunately.
